Thanks! Those are rubber isolation pads commonly used for washing machines to reduce vibrations/noise and decouple it from the floor reducing noise transfer to the floor. (Shopee/lazada) This is a cheap alternative to a U-Boat by Auralex. If you can spring for those, that would work much better as it is made for this type of application. You could get them from Thomman they ship to SG.

Hey, yeah he was using 2 diff materials. One called “heavy duty commercial acoustic curtain,” similar or probably exactly as those vinyl material used in construction to cover their perimeter, usually labelled as “sound barrier”. And another material called “soundproof curtain bedroom shade” which is a thick curtain material. He got it of Lazada, similar to shopee/aliexpress. But the key for him was folding each material 4x. It was a really thick layer in combination. He ordered super long cuts.
