8 years.... you're still the legend, thank you for teaching us good sir

I just want to thank you sir. I am in my final year of engineering and without your videos in of my first two years idk if I could have done it. Your videos were more then helpful for studying and finishing homework but, an actual learning experience. Keep teaching these students and preparing them for the future you truly are a blessing. Take Care!

@2:33 Where does 9.8 come from in the formula ?
@panpanr8121Ай бұрын
gravity
@originalCYАй бұрын
it’s the general number, it varies from place to place
@SuperbuchiАй бұрын
g, acceleration due to gravity. its usually approximated to 9.81, 9.8 or 10
@askemadsen21Ай бұрын
It's gravity. The value comes from the acceleration of gravity on earth since most places have very slightly different acceleration speeds such as 9.78m/s² in Kuala Lumpur, 9.825 m/s2 in Oslo... And we are allowed to round them to 9.8m/s² for all question relating to gravity unless worst case scenario (most likely won't happen, just a sarcastic statemate) the question tells you where the place is specifically at and doesn't mention what the acceleration speed of gravity is at that place.
