Completely agree with your assessment of Gibbs. By already having the structure in place for him to succeed, the Lions can treat him like a high-performance sports car. Bring him out when you want to and get great production, and put him away when it's a rainy day and you're running it up the gut 20 times. Montgomery and Gibbs are also a great thunder and lightning duo. Montgomery softens up the D while Gibbs eats on fresh legs.

Sounds like your setting your expectations too high to me. It takes more than just one player for the offense to be good. What if he isn't protected, what if his receivers have a bad year. The thing is u can look at dynamic qbs who run the ball also nd b like yeah he can have down year or if they start receiver leaves or the o line gets worse cj lost his receivers nd had a bagged up o line all year and continued to play great he’s a pure passer not a gimmick qb he’s need a lot of talent or relies on his legs plus the Texans running game was ass last year another reason y a qb could struggle running game getting weak

Geez, so much pressure, disappointment and hype built on ONE season. The NFL is the best of the best, every play a series of mini battles. A player cannot be expected to win every battle every time. It's great to see a player have a fine season, but geez, the hype and pressure mounting to repeat it is ridiculous. Expectations will almost never be reached. I say, back off on the hype and analysis and just the players compete. Give them a chance to rebound without too much criticism

Honestly would be surprised if cj throws more than 10 interceptions. Most he’s thrown in his career is 6 both seasons at ohio state and against big 10 defenses. He’s just way accurate with his placement of the ball and is great with analyzing defenses presnap

Unpopular opinion but i don't think Puka will be an elite receiver longterm. Once he loses Stafford, his production will tank. I think he's already had the best season of his career. Still will probably average 600-800 yards a season but doubt he will ever match the production from his rookie season
