Good advice here. I’ve also heard to avoid the outside part of the outermost ring. Shuttles, vehicles, etc drive up and down it.

Excellent map Trying to figure out where would be best to set up assuming a compass reading from the man to the temple is due north, center camp is due south sun sets west at 9;00, sun rises east at 3:00. What direction is the wind coming from most of the time?

The official map has the direction of due north on it burningman.org/event/black-rock-city-guide/2017-black-rock-city-plan/ and it pretty much seems to line up with the runway for planes. The wind can really come from any direction but most people say the prevailing winds are from the SW. Might be worth checking the weather reports before heading out to see what they say, this one includes the wind direction www.intellicast.com/Local/Weather.aspx?location=USNV0033

I'm surprised to hear kids are allowed. It just seems like not a great place for kids. How do you explain the orgy dome to a 9yr old. I suppose it's big enough you could keep them away from some of this stuff, I dunno, i do know I wouldn't take my kids.

It would be nice if you could just get the American accent because your accent is not really viable for this video and burning man, you’re saying. Your Australian accent is kind of mixed with South Africa and Congo accent so that makes a little difficult lady.
