Dunno if you got the reference, but THE PJS was a show that was on the same lineup as FUTURAMA back when it aired on FOX in America. It's opening credits had a manhole cover.

Nibbler is confirmed to be 3,277 years old as of The Why of Fry episode. So the rings are likely 1 ring = 600 years. So 3000/600 = 5.

I didn't know this on my first few Futurama watches, but with a tedious watching of all Planet of the Apes content, the Golden Nuke is likely a Planet of the Apes reference. (To anyone yelling, "Yeah it was obvious.", etc. Whatever, it was a new realization for me.)

@@joeyallain8364 It is a spoiler. If they looked at that scene and realised the link, then it totally ruins the whole mystery. If they know about that spoiler it also kinda ruins the effect of some future episodes mainly (S2 Ep9) and (S4 Ep2)
