Great watch..You should do similar "mini-series" with Goa , Uplifting , Progressive etc etc. It doesn't matter if you haven't mastered some of them. Watching you work within the boundaries and trends of each one would provide great insight. Ps. Even if you go into this with only listening to a couple of tracks of a sub-genre.. Watching you trying to approximate things you picked up by ear is still a worthy watch in my opinion.. because its about the process.

Very good video, thank you. I like some elements of Hi-tech and dark psy. Techno and jungle(from the free parties of the 90's) , goa and full-on, some early prog and combine these elements into music. Btw I enjoyed the video , athough I use FL Studio I can still follow most of your videos through 👍🙏✌

same here :D FLStudio is the DAW of choice for us noobies =)

FL studio is probably the most in depth DAW I've ever used, harmor alone is more powerfull than all instruments in ableton combined. Don't be fooled the reputation of the software, it's good enough to do anything you want!

@@Projektor_music I'm of the opinion that, at this point in time , the only thing that changes between DAW is the layout. 20 years ago i would argue with mates which one is the best to use at our level of proficiency...now i argue with them that all that is different is the layout/workflow.

@@Thanos1908 well there are some features you just won't find in other DAW's but not to the extend that you can't make the music you want to make!

awesome tut broski. Just curious if you would be keen on doing one in the sorta Bonanza Bros / HenriqueCamacho / Acquavitta style of "HiTech". More uplifting, hi energy, lightish, instead of dark, sorta vibe. Dunno how else to explain it lmao. Guess sorta like that new hi speed techno but not really.

All I hear is psy-this and psy-that. Putting that label on everything to define its genre just makes it all the more cringe. CANCELLED.

What are you confused about? And which truths do you speak? There being to many sub genres of psy? These labels of psy have always existed Like dnb sub genres your not gonna call jump up jungle? Same with psy you wont call forest, dark psy as you wouldnt call prog, hi tech?
@noctiva Жыл бұрын
@@OTBB047 I know Psytrance. I produce it in point of fact. I also produce Uplifting & Melodic trance and remixes. What I am stating here is that "labels" just add to the confusion and destruction (if you will) of the music intended. Think about it. Right now, Uplifting Trance has become "labeled" as "Nu Rave", which is MILES AWAY from the the EDM genre in general. Jumpstyle has now been dubbed "Rave Core", not "Happy Hardcore" as originally named. You see where this mess lies? "Hi-Tech Psytrance" is just stupid: psytrance is psytrance. I grew up with it. SUN Project, Electric Universe, Juno Reactor- all in the area of psytrance. Him "attempting" to add this shows the producer is incompetent. The same goes for anyone who adds "Core" to the end of a genre. The tutorials and content are stale and misleading to producers today. Whats next-- are you gonna make a tutorial on "Psy-Country"? Or perhaps "Psy-New Age"? Give me a f*ckin break. All you kids know NOTHING about music. All you know is to add labels to make the genre "pop" and appeal to stupid kids. Show me ANYTHING you produced from the knowledge you gained here. If it, in deed, deserves such a title and worth listening to, and not some garbage loop kits and presets, and I will gladly eat my own shoe. THIS GENERATION knows NOTHING about music. You included.
