Hi! Just want you to know these videos are great and helps me out a lot!! :) Also, I have a question regarding a video idea. Could you perhaps make a video where you critique professionals on their work(anatomy/shading etc) where you instead point out good habits/techniques and maybe different approaches to certain tasks? As maybe some of us find it easier to go about certain tasks with a different approach than shown in some videos. Ah, art school critiques. Not always easy to take, but always so helpful! Well, hopefully anyway. Sometimes you get a douchey fellow student that says things like "How much time did you spend on this? Because I don't see much difference from the last time." I know people who gets really defensive or even are hostile towards critique. Art is hard by iteself, you only are making it even harder if you reject feedback. I don't have that problem because I look down everything I do lol

Am I the only one who enjoys that these border on mean? The information is in front of you... draw EEETTT. Too many critiques sound like they're pandering to the students. Proko is very "do the lesson" which is the best advice. Don't rush. Don't take shortcuts. Do the work.

Request for a video topic: Why is it natural when starting out drawing to use outlines? I know this isn’t a typical topic for this channel but while looking at cave paintings I found that it looks like the work of a modern untrained person or child. All outlines! So why is our first instinct not to use tone? It is after all the way we see?

Hola Ericka, soy de España. Quisiera decirte que acabo de descubrir una forma de subtítular en Español en todos los videos de KZbin: Puedes pulsar en el icono de la rueda ( abajo a la derecha de cada video ), pulsa en subtítulos - generados automáticamente, luego pulsa en Traducir automáticamente y ahí te viene la lista de todos los idiomas en que se pueden subtitular el Inglés u otro cualquier idioma en que se hable en cada video ( puedes pinchar en Español y ya te aparece así ). He probado con el Ingles y Francés y me funciona. Puedo subtitularlos al Español. Pero ésto hay que hacerlo cada vez en cada video que pongas. Un saludo.

The glove is used when doing digital art on a drawing tablet to you dont get any grease or other stuff from your hands on the tablet.

You can also use it for traditional art when you are shading so you don’t smudge your work
