Of course you can like it or not Ryan Scott Carp-Blog, everybody have his own opinion, but one thing is for sure : it is not complicated at all. The video is long because we want to show as many detail as possible and step by step, but fitting 2 pegs and unfold 3 ribs is not complicated...and this is all you have to do to open it.

So nun war es dreimal im Einsatz, und wie der gute Mann das so schnell und einfach aufbauen kann ist mir ein Rätsel! Also bei mir ist das alles andere als easy! :-? unter anderen müssen die amerikanischen Angler alle etwas kürzer sein als die deutschen Angler! Meine liege passt gar nicht rein, nur wenn das Zelt links und rechts große Beulen hat bekommt man die rein! auch im allgemeinen hast wenig Platz, für das Geld kann ich sie leider nicht weiter empfehlen :-( Schade :-/

Had my comment deleted. Tackle companies don't like criticism. Prologic, you may get slightly less negative comments if you had someone that knows something about design in your ranks. Clearly this isn't the case.

Carl Davis We do take criticism Carl, you can see it looking at the comments that has not been deleted in other video, we delete offensive and cold criticism comments that bring to nothing. With this product we were looking for a different solution for a bivvy frame as they are all very similar right now, and this one on the functional side is working very good, than if most of the people don't like how it looks, that's life, but we prefer to try different way when we believe in some ideas. And a lot of carp anglers that have an independent way of looking at product and understand how they work have sent us really good comments, especially after use, but this isn't clearly your case.

With regards to the bivvy design I said it is a waste of time and money, I will stand by what I said. I have worked in the angling trade myself, on top of a design background I know what I am talking about.

I love that its different and its light and practical and i dont know wot the numpties complaining below are on about saying its complicated they must be useless and are happy to shell out money for poorer quality bivvies simply because that's wot your supposed to do like every one else be a clone

Well for clever twat. It certainly isn't as quick and simple as a brolly or pram hood. I'd rather be fishing than fucking about. It's a tent at the end of the day not a fucking house. If you can't see that simple and quick wins hands down. I'd ask the question. Was your dad daft too????

I have this bivvy and it really dosnt take that long to put up, its great for little sessions and good in high winds. I'm yet to buy and try the over wrap yet thou!

There is a very good reason that pram hoods and brollies are popular. It's because it's quick and simple to put up. This is the very opposite. Simple wins time and again. This is just trying to reinvent something that didn't need re inventing. Even Nash titans are not for everyone but they are at least simple too.

This might not be to everyone's taste but it doesn't half take my fancy. It's more square than most bivvies so it reduces the waste of space behind your bedchair. And whoever says that it is awkward to put up are taking the p!$$

To be fair, if this was taller, I could see this being popular with older anglers for French trips. I'm nearly 50 and suffer with a bad back. Low, cramped bivvys do not help me one bit, especially as a home for a week! I could, if it was the right price point, see this as being a popular alternative to the expensive " Oz tent" and other similar type shelters which are gaining popularity in Europe. I'm too old to consider " street cred" in my fishing shelters / bedchairs now. Yes it's never going to attract the young bloods, but I could see a niche market, which is growing.

I'm fairly new to carp fishing having spent all my fishing years with either sea,coarse & match fishing but even I can tell that this will not be popular with carp anglers. I'm not knocking Prologic equipment, I have a lot of the Commander range of luggage as well as 2 x 10ft COM rods (which are fantastic value) but this seems very complicated to erect, why not just go to Go Outdoors or Decathlon and buy a 2 man tent? probably be much cheaper to do that.

+PrologicFishingGear I wonder would this Bivvy fit 2 bed chairs in I'm looking for a 1 man Bivvy but something that can fit another bed chair in if my Boyfriend wants to come fishing which won't be all the time but when he does come I need space for another chair also do they make this Bivvy in a 2 man

yes everyone it looks horriable and takes a long time to put up Iwill stick to my traker tempest v2 brolly thats what you call a great bit of kit and takes no time time to put up tight lines always.

Thanks for this demonstration. OK, so it's not exactly a thing of beauty but I don't believe it merits all the negative comments. I'm probably coming at this from a slightly different direction to most people. I'm paraplegic and a full-time wheelchair user and I can see lots of advantages in this design and construction. The straight sides and back are a pleasant change and do, as the demo suggests, avoid the "dead" area at the base of curved sides - there is literally no way I can reach stuff once it's there......unless I go outside the tent and reach inwards! I also like the pole arrangement and I think I can reach high enough to assemble it without too much trouble. All in all, I think it has distinct advantages and possibilities over the traditional tent/bivvy shape. The only problem I can see is that there might have been so many negative comments that it may no longer be for sale!!

With all due respect you have not used one of these in reality and watching a video hardly gives you true perspective. Try it then post your comment because you will find it no easier than a pram hood in reality.

Also ich finde das Zelt gerade eben weil es etwas anders designed ist als die anderen zelte sehr interessant! ich finde es schaut Top aus, und wie es sich in der Praxis bewährt wird sich zeigen! Aber ich bin fest davon überzeugt das es mich zufrieden stellen wird!
