I cannot believe that after 10,000 performances, The Phantom of the Opera London production is still going strong with no tomorrow in sight. It is truly a spectacle that will continue. I am in my early 20's now and I am hoping my future children will be able to see it.

I am a phanatic. Seriously. I have watched this show 6 times -- once in Brazil in 2006, the touring version, twice on Broadway, and now twice in Brazil (the new re-staged replica of the broadway/london show). I am going to watch it again in Brazil (because it is seriously the most gorgeous version I have seen so far). If you are in Brazil, COME WATCH PHANTOM OF THE OPERA AT RENAULT THEATER. There are some additional special effects that the original versions don't have. As soon as I am done with my master's, I am buying myself a gift called PHANTOM OF THE OPERA LONDON.

you just wont beat this version on the overture staging. ive seen the touring version years ago as wont amazing. hopeing to see the new tour this year if its not cancelled! just something about this flows like the others dont...

They've done something to the overture, not sure if they've sped it up or added faster drums, but it sounds diffrent

Actually glad your camera didn't capture the glory of the scene after the tarp is pulled away: Seeing what happens is kind of a spoiler. I had the privileged of viewing this at Her Majesty's Royal Theatre from second row, stage left, and let me tell you... This took my breath away.

@okilodolicy Agreed on that note. Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman are wonderful to listen during the original cast recording, but a current cast recording with the revised score would be necessary.

This is the orchestration used in the Las Vegas production. Shortly after that one opened, the London production had a digital sound system installed, then the score was updated. Would you happen to have the title song from this particular show?

wow i love it but they should deffenitley make a new cast elbem for London and Broadway because the revisements are not on the old elbems. Aswell if people buy the orignel cast elbem ofter seeing the show they might be kinda angrey not herring the revisments on the cd they just bought lol
