Prosthetics have come a long way. I'm amazed at how well Ian Whyte as an 'Engineer' could move and act. His presence commands the set!

I love watching this because now i know its not real but wow the prop designs/puppets and makeup effects really brought this movie together the CGI was mostly for the background alien ship aesthetic the actors really brought it alive

it is true that in terms of innovations, creations, settings, this film! remains the best of the 6 aliens, there is really an artistic touch! but above all the universe of space is hyper credible... sumptuous decorations! Personally, I really appreciated the idea of the balls which direct by recreating the terrain of the place from a distance! Mr. Ridley, congratulations again!

The visual effects and set pieces of the movie are amazing but unfortunately the storyline is terrible and full of holes like a slice of swiss cheese.

I loved this movie. The idea they were doing to a planet 1500 years after an incident occurred and when the sand storm came, they were all in the ship,going to bed, I love that scene. I watched it twice.

Even though I don't necessarily like most of the storyline of Prometheus and especially Covenant but I must admit that Ridley Scott designs some of the most realistic and outstanding spaceships!

only James Cameron, Denis Villenueve and few others can get you to immerse into another planet like its second skin!im pretty sure Blade Runner is my top Ridley Scott movie!

Too bad😢 Ridley Scott always cut crucial part of his movies and released questionable film 😂 . Kingdom of Heaven ,Blade Runner etc have direct. version. But this one has already many fan base turned out no directed by or full version

This movie got a bad rap, it was beautifully made, well scripted & scored and a worthy prequel, if only they’d stuck with it being THE prequel and set it all on LV426, then the original Alien origin story would’ve been neatly wrapped up. I hope we’ll get a re-edit to that end, as all the needed parts do exist.

I enjoyed the movie up until they started making it all about the humans and how the Engineers created us. When that scene of the alien head after all was just an helmet for a bigger human, I started being a bit disappointed. The giant universe from the original movies started to shrink. Then the "DNA is 100% match, they are our creators", plus the "they made us and now they want to kill us". And in the sequel the thing that David engineered the xenomorph. The whole Alien universe became really small. This is like if a guy travelled to another planet and found that the previous astronaut that have been there was his cousin that lived down the street.

All that money and time spent on what. . .? I bet if they had taken just one of those set hands, gave them the script, and said, "Hey. Take this script and write out anything stupid from it," we would've gotten an infinitely better film.
