Actually they were Muslim by name infact they didn't know anything regarding Islam so they converted just for materialism not for religion. Because if they were real Muslims they can find better Christianity in Islam. Quran tells us briefly about Merry A.S & Essa A.S Jesus better then any other religion.

Your comment simply shows the ignorance of the average Muslims about Christianity. Voluntary ignorance, not stupidity. All the people shown here were sheikhs and learned people, some even the most famous sheikhs of their time, and most of them either lost everything after their conversion (such as the prince of Morocco), or were jailed and killed. Is this the materialism they converted for? Maybe you should reverse your assumption to islam, and refer materialism to that "paradise only fit for beasts" (to quote St. Alphonsus) where believers enjoy perpetual virgins and food, like animals, worse than a tavern. These people studied Christianity without prejudices, and guided by God's grace, found the true Jesus, who is "the Way, the Truth, the Life."
