Love this stuff. I use it for all sorts of projects, not just coating tables. Good for smoothing 3d prints, shallow casting and even as a laminating resin with fiberglass and carbon fiber, just warm it with a heat gun after applying to decrease viscosity and fully saturate the material.

Realistically, how long can this sit in the bucket? Do I have 10-15 minutes while I prepare a dirty-pour? This takes a bit longer to get all the colors mixed and dumped back into the larger volume. If I do have, say, 15 minutes, does this reduce the working time once poured?

make sure to do that seal coat. i didn't do one because i thought the shellac i applied would seal the wood grain up. i couldn't get all the bubbles out of the OAK sections unfortunately. everything else looks sweet though.

Can this be used for my dining table to make it water resistant from my 3 little ones and what about there greasy little fingers from when they eat? I love the look of my dark wood table and hate the look of cloth table covers?

Do you need to use a heat gun to pop bubbles on the seal coat? Or do you only do it on the flood coat? Any reason not to do it on the seal coat?

You can use a heat gun to pop bubbles on both coats, not a problem!

Why does this resin yellow so much and so quickly? It has ruined a few of my projects that ended up costing me hundreds of dollars!!! I followed every single step correctly. Please explain why this happens and how I can prevent it. Thanks.

Hey Jared! I think I answered your question over on Facebook, but to recap all epoxy will yellow. However, our ProArt Epoxy has added UV protection. If you have a lot of UV heavy projects that's the product I would recommend over our Table Top Epoxy!!

Hello. I just received my Pro Marine order. Should I let it warm to room temperature? I had no issues with part B, the hardener, but part A is extremely cloudy. I am letting it sit for a while to see if it clears up.

You can let it warm up to room temperature, but we also recommend putting it into a warm water bath as well!

What's the difference between this stuff and epoxy used on boats? Stuff used for epoxy jewelry? Is it all the same? Thought I'd buy some but all the ones on amazon are 'tabletop' epoxy resin or 'jewelry'.

I pour my hardener first and then add the epoxy resin to it. When pouring the epoxy resin into the hardener, I noticed that the epoxy portion is very thick. I mix the two together for 3 minutes and when I pour the mixture on my piece of art it is so thick. When watching videos, others seem to have a more liquidy resin mix. What could be the problem?

After mixing for the first three minutes, you are suppose to transfer to a clear bucket. Be sure to scrape the first bucket clean. Then, mix for an additional 3 minutes.

This epoxy is half the price of Stone Coat Countertops brand. How does it compare? I notice that your videos seem to concentrate on small art projects and not a full-size countertop?
