Hey Promise! We’re nola locals…let me fill you in on that gumbo. Typically you make either chicken sausage gumbo or seafood. So putting sausage with shrimp & slimy okra is pretty strange. Even stranger is having sweet potato fries instead of rice. The gumbo @ 1900 Park Fair is the closest to authentic nola gumbo we tried @ Disney. Keep up the great work!

Loved this soup extravaganza!! I think another "T" rating could have been "texture". I'm super weird about the texture of my food, which is not as important to some people. You could see how slimy that gumbo was and that would have been a huge "nope" for me.

The gooeyness of the gumbo is probably from okra. Okra can have a slimy texture when cooked.
