Just got a huge bag of the BX. Coming from Fox Farms Ocen Forest and decided to go organic. My last two bags of Fox Farms had fungus gnats and they’re a pain to deal with. Good stuff but there’s so many better choices that are cheaper.

Ocean Forest is supposed to be totally organic according to the bags I got, Google and a bunch of KZbinrs.

Also the mycorrhizae is the name of the symbiote created by the myccorhizal fungi and the roots of the plant. The fungi themselves are called myccorhizal fungi. I felt like Jeff Lowenfell had a vital urge to share this information so I’m thinking that it’s worth spreading the lord’s word. Better safe than sorry.

Mycorrohizae is a fungi not a bacterium my dudes. The only fungi that interacts with canabis(as far as I know) and what a gem it is. Vegetable plants love bacterial dominated soils where as trees and shrubs prefer fungi dominated soils.

Coco coir is the number one most used media in hydroponics. The fact that you have the capability of watering anywhere from multiple times per day to once per day, every 2 days or even every 3 days makes this media very attractive to growers. Picking the proper container size for the watering schedule you desire is key. To say that the natural moisture retaining properties inherent in coco coir is the reason for growers overwatering is simply not the case. The possibility of overwatering in coco coir has nothing to do with a limiting factor of the media itself. rather it lies in the grower not maintaining the correct parameters for the size and current growth stage of the plant. pure quality coco coir holds a sufficient amount of water it also has excellent drainage. A quality coco coir has the perfect air to water ratio, so I don’t know where yall got that info from. If you have the proper nutrient balance, EC, light intensity, temperature and humidity for the size of your plant then it’s nearly impossible to overwater. Unless you have a product that has not been properly buffered or some type of coco blended with pete moss or soil materials in it, then yes overwatering is a possibility. The problem with the blended mixtures are the contradicting nutrient and watering requirements for each different media. But no ! pure quality coco coir is the most versatile media. As long as your watering schedule works well with your container size and your parameters are dialed in for the size of your plant and current growth stage, you’ll get the best yields and versatility from coco coir.

It's not true that Promix has no nutrients, "clean slate or zero ppm" as you say. It has a starter charge npk + micros. You can ask Premier tech for the data sheet for promix HP and it has all the ppm listed for their starter charge. You can saturate with plain water and start feeding in a week according to Premier Tech.

Sure.
@bud24084 жыл бұрын
For indoors use HP so that it dries out faster. Wet to dry cycles are important. Especially inside because you don't have the sun drying it out. But either will probably work. They made a point in this video saying BX is great for outdoors. Outdoor grows you could have the sun dry your pots out bone dry quickly, that's where I feel BX would shine best. If you use the BX you'll be watering less often verses if you use the HP it will need watering more often.

@nessieinvt58753 жыл бұрын
I love Pro-Mix HP in my autopot system!! I've noticed though it has become increasingly hard to purchase the already loose pro mix HP locally. Most of my local suppliers are selling the compressed version that needs to be rehydrated. I really want a pH neutral product, however, my tap water has an extremely hi ph level. Any ideas on how I can rehydrate one of these large blocks that produces 3.3 cubic feet of product, once hydrated, and keeping it ph neutral or at the proper pH of between 5.5 and 6? Would you suggest filling 5 gallon buckets of ph corrected water to the block? Should I get the medium to neutral or as close as to in between 5.5 and 6?

I think gallon jugs of distilled water is ph neutral. You'd want to verfiy that with the brands you can find available to you.
