Years ago, I made a large queen-size bedspread with these exact colors. It wasn't the same yarn, just colors. This was about 50 years ago and nylon yarn had just come on the market. Even before acrylic. It was granny squares. Don't know what ever happened to it with all the moves I've made. My whole bedroom was done in the same blue wirh white trimming. Love watching you both and have used several stitches recently to crochet a blanket for my new great grandson. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your families.❤❤❤

Also, whenever I can I let moms with young kids go ahead of me in checkout lines because little kids have short attention spans and long shopping trips can sometimes make them tired and cranky. This year I'm giving away a stuffed stocking.I have a lady who goes around collecting bottles,and she comes to my house ,well this time she came and didn't have any gloves so I went to the dollar store and got her gloves,hat,scarf,cozy socks and a snack .I feel very good about this .merry christmas!

As a new crocheter I don’t even have enough yarn for a blanket or all the crochet hooks. Right now I’m using my paper crafting scissors to cut the yarn. I’ve learned how to do the single crochet, double crochet stitches and the basic granny square. I have never tried to make a blanket as I don’t have the yarn needed to do it. I watched the video where you oicked up that yarn and thought too it’s a beautiful happy color. Another great place to give away this handmade blanket is the senior apartments where I live, so many seniors here aren’t able to drive and have health problems, the softness of the blanket would be quite comforting to them. Thank you creative grandma and Cody for your videos, I love seeing all the yarn swatches and stitches. I love the crunch stitch and want to learn how to do it.
