I think the Reason Stanley still has Mario's voice in the 2nd half is because since he's an AI, he can't speak on his own and only in text, so he just uses the voice of the vessel he inhabits.

I really love the beginning Mario sprite because there's something just slightly off. There isn’t anything particularly wrong about this Mario, he has everything normal Mario has, but he just doesn't seem right. I'm not sure how they did it, but it perfectly fits this.

His proportions are all wrong, is what it is. Fingers are a bit too long, mustache is too big, face is structured a little differently than the Mario we're used to. The smile looks artificial. The way he holds the microphone is weird, it looks too small for him. He also only has three fingers (and a thumb) on each hand, whereas normally Mario is always drawn with a full fingered hand.

While this is a fine version, I do like the instrumental of the old version better. It sounded more devastating and bombastic, whereas this sounds a lot less impactful but more steady. It’s not bad by any means it’s still sounds good, it’s just I like the old instrumental better. (Also it probably wouldn’t have been changed if it wasn’t leaked so there’s that too)
