Today we're practicing the pronunciation with the tongue twister: "um limão, mil limões, um milhão de limões". With this tongue twister, we're focusing on the sounds: /ũ-u/, /ɐw-ɐ̃w̃/, /õjʃ/, /l-ʎ/.

It is a proper tongue twister. Easy when spoken slowly but when I try to speak it fast I get lemon all over the place 😆

Those are really tongue twisters but you explained it so well on how to pronounciate them :) - I am not sure if you knew but for whatever reason, your captions on your video are shaded in a black shade so it's very hard to see the English writing which is in light gray color which is not very bright to see it well. You may want to change it to make it more readable for the audiendce...Unless it's only me having the issue . Thank you :)❤

Actually, I wrote the text on the screen intentionally for those who prefer to focus on the listening, but still have the most important things written on the screen to be able to follow. Excelente exercício para melhorar a nossa pronúncia 👍🏼. Eu acho que os soms mais complicados dependem da língua materna da cada falante. Por exemplo, a minha língua materna é espanhol e, segundo a minha pouca experiência, acho que o fonema /lh/ é o mais complexo de realizar corretamente para os hispanófonos, em princípio pela similitude com o fonema /l/ do espanhol. Além das vogais nasais, claro, que acabam por ser um fenômeno mais ou menos estranho se não as tens na tua língua materna. Muito bom vídeo 😃

O u nasal para mim é muito difícil. Sempre tive dificuldade com esse vogal. Também, sopostamente nós (dos EUA) dizemos o 'LH' errado mesmo eu não entendendo etamante porque dizem isso.
