There are two types of thermostat cuts used in cars. Let's talk about tiago xz. Here you don't have any variable Ac cut thermostat. The knob having blue/ red colour actually change the flap position from Ac condenser to heat condenser in which hot coolant circulates which will make your car cabin temperature to rise.in order to save fuelwith Ac on, just set the knob to extreme blue side. The temperature will come down and the thermostat will cut out and will save fuel. One more way is to keep fan speed to the lowest . But This makes circulation poor and only front passengers will be comfortable as the temperature of dashboard interior will decrease it will cut the AC . Now let's talk about xz+ Here you have fully auto Ac which has variable thermostat, one can select the temperature from 31C to 16 C . The car automatically adust the cabin temperature to the adjusted temperature In the nut shell , yes fan speed does affect the fuel efficiency of car. Higher the speed more is fuel consumption.in The above video, when the narrator increases the fan speed actually the load on alternator increases which in turn is increasing the fuel consumption. I hope this will clear all your doubts

रवी सर आपने बहुत अच्छे efforts liye है और बहुत अच्छा तरीका ढूंढा है engine ke fuel consumption को चेक करने के लिए. इसी topic pe आपकी इसके पहले वाली व्हिडिओ मे मैने कमेंट किया था के एसी ओन होने पर एसिका कॉम्प्रेसर कंटिन्यूअसली ऑन ऑफ ऑन ऑफ होते रहता है. तो जब एसी सुरू करते हो तो कंप्रेसर शुरू हो जाता है और वो कट ऑफ होने से पेहले ब्लोअर का स्पीड बढाने पर हलका सा ही consumption बढता है; ये आपने अभी प्रूफ के साथ दिखाया, लेकिन कॉम्प्रेसर कितनी देर तक ऑन रहता है ये आपने चेक नही किया. मेरा कहना है यही है कि अगर आप लोअर का स्पीड कम रखो, तो एसिका कॉम्प्रेसर कम देर तक शुरू रहता है और ज्यादा देर तक बंद रहता है, इसके कारण पेट्रोल की खपत कम होती है. और अगर ब्लोअर की स्पीड बढा दी जाये तो कॉम्प्रेसर ऑन रहने का समय बड जाता है, और बंद रहने का समय भी कम होता है. मतलब इस proof वाले टेस्टिंग मे आपने टाईम का फॅक्टर छोड दिया है. जो की ध्यान मे लेना जरुरी है. प्लीज आप इस टेस्टिंग को ज्यादा समय तक गाडी चला कर चेक कीजिए. आपका कंप्रेसर शुरू रहने का टाइम जादा रहेगा.

you are right fan speed has little to no effect on FE whereas temperature has a big influence as it pushes the compressor which is more demanding in regards of power consumption
