I am a comedian and the issue I have run into is no one ever gives advice on growing a page for actual creatives. Most of the advice mostly applies to niche pages. Facebook for comedians who have an actual opinion is hard. The violations from Facebook just not liking you opinion. Or doing commentary on a video that is already viral on Facebook is crazy. Maybe it’s just me but for comedians the bar it extremely high.

Actually we have a stand up comic as one of our clients, we helped him grow to over 100K followers and we only use clips from his sets to grow. So, is not impossible, just need to know how to do it properly.

I don’t recommend posting that much on a single page

It's not that easy though...yeah, there's the option of targeted ads but people tend to engage with that one video leaving you with a dozen videos on your page that only have 5-50 views. And unlike KZbin's algorithm that tends to pick up a video and make it go viral even YEARS after it's been posted....with Facebook you'll make a video that just randomly gets stuck in the algorithm never to be watched by anyone again. I think this is why most creators tend to favour KZbin more than anything else...even while you are not seeing any money at least you are seeing results. With Facebook you have to pay to get results but even then it's merely lukewarm results that don't give you actual tangible leads.

I hear you. This is why FB has something called repost, allowing you to essentially reupload the same videos multiple times giving you more opportunities to get views.

@@LesterDiaz yeah I guess...If I could afford your course the one on one would have been ideal but I'm absorbing as much as I can from all your videos...only 22 followers thus far with a single video I boosted that's got over 20k views, now the rest of the views are organic...once I hit that 5k follower mark I'll be back here again!

Ads manager tracks all of that for you and yes the best followers are those who chose to follow because they saw a video from you and decided to follow, not buying followers from random websites.

Same here, depends on your country, I have 6 pages with almost 1 mil followers total but have only stars, you need to have patience, keep posting and the new tools will unlock in the next updates
