How do you see Storm in every X-men film and still get excited about her? She’s been so downplayed in the movies! I hope that Disney does better with her character. Alexandra was nice in Apocalypse, but even if they have to recast, they’d better get her right. I’m not even the biggest Storm fan. I like Jean better, personally. But I think we can agree that Storm deserves a better role in future stories.

Shamon Bryant I personally think Teyana Taylor has a great look for a teenaged/ young adult Storm. I’ve seen her performing on stage and think she has great presence and can be fantastical and goddess-like, if needed. I don’t really see Rih pulling her off visually. But I do like that she has the accent. Alison Sealy Smith, who played Storm in the 90’s cartoon also had a Barbados accent and I loved her theatrical Storm. And Lupita would’ve been a nice choice but I like her too much as Nakia.

Everything about Storm's story would not only make a perfect film, but could possibly create a perfect franchise. She's clearly an omega level mutant, meaning not many mutants are more powerful than her, but her film re-telling is VERY watered down.

I know it may sound silly or even shady , but good for you! I am a Kitty Pryde fanatic myself. She has not had as much screen time as Storm though comic wise the two definitely have a bond. If the rumored Kitty movie coming up for FOX happens there is definitely a good chance Ororo Munroe could be featured .

Storm has never been in an X-Men movie. They've had Wolverine, Professor X, and Magneto, but the other X-Men have never been on screen. They've had Halle Berry in a white wig, but she hasn't been in the movies ever.

I love your work, man! I am a similarly huge Storm fan (I AM that guy who would find out Storm's Social Security number...except I'm not because that'd be wrong...except I'd totally know it anyway), and I hope to see more of her, and like you, I want a bigger role for her whether Disney or Comcast get the rights. I don't hate the notion of Alexandra Shipp continuing to play her, to be honest, but if they recast her with someone with better screen presence, I won't complain too much. So much of my love for the X-Men centers around its female characters, and the first one who really grabbed my attention was this girl right here. While her representation in the films has not beeen perfect, or even always good, it's been there, and enough to get me at least a little interested in every one. Even the terrible ones.

In first class maybe they intended for that girl to be Storm, but when x men apocalypse came we now know that’s not the case. You see that girl couldn’t be storm since she got her white hair thanks to apocalypse, and either way the age doesn’t add up, if she was that girl in first class then she should be older in apocalypse. And don’t tell be it’s because the timeline changed because the events of first class didn’t get affected, since Wolverine came years later after the events of first class.

I'm a huge Storm fan too, mostly from the comics though ( beat cyclops to be leader of XMen, been worthy to use Mjölnir, Struck Galactus and been Queen of Wakanda - to name a few reasons) and the fact Halle Berry is one of the most beautiful things on the planet but I couldn't remember seeing Ororo in "First Class" nor "Logan" but you caught it! Storm is not recognized as the powerful OMEGA MUTANT she is! Halle Berry tried to make her more powerful and the producers won’t allow it to happen, allegedly told her to stick to the script or will be fired. I love STORM a lot but I don’t think we will see her as the real goddess she is... not for the moment at least... they prefer to make Jean Grey the star! Dark Phoenix movie is coming!

Just because a girl with white hair ,doesnt mean she is Strom... First class happened in 1963 ,that means Storm was child in the 60'??!! And what about Apocalypse? In 80' ,the Real storm was in her teen years! So...child in 60' and teen in 80' ,and in the original trigoly (which happened in the 2000') she was in her 30' ..unless storm has some slow aging powers ,that wasnt her. What about xmen origins? She was also a child in africa in the 70'?? Child in 60' ,70'(in middle of africa) ,become a teen in 80' ,because she grows evrey 20 years, moved to Egypt ,stayed there ,learned language ,lived enough to be thief ,then moved with Xmen..and suddely stopped aging again during the 90' ,and become a mature woman in the 2000'.... the storm you see in apocalypse is a different time line storm. days of future past erased all the existence of the characters up to that point and now they all can have different backstories or changes in their characters from the original versions of what we saw in previous movies. The little girl with white hair was indeed intended to be storm.

The timeline is a mess. That was a mistake because in DOFP the past part of the film is cannon. The new future doesn’t begin until after mystique drops the gun. So everything that happened in the past actually happened, including seeing storm in cerebral. Anything that happens after mystique drops the gun (X-men 1,2,3, the sentinel future in DOFP, wolverine 2, X-men origins:Wolverine) is non cannon. Only apocalypse, first class, and the Deadpool movies are cannon
