“When Suga talks, I listen” - FACTS. Yet To Come feels like the equivalent of a vow renewal for a marriage to me. It’s a reassurance and promise for ARMY and for themselves. It’s beautiful. ARMY actually stands for “Adorable Representative M.C For Youth”. So the song “for youth” (taking the last 2 words of ARMY) is for the fans and also for the members, their family, staff. Fun Fact: The start of the song is BTS and ARMY singing “Young Forever”. I’m not emotional 😭😭😭. You can actually hear “forever, we are young” looping through out the song in the back.. And Jungkook released a song for the fans called “My You” yesterday… chopping onions 🧅 And yes… I believe they put crack on Run BTS because I can’t stop listening to it. Also, the translation for j-hope's Run BTS verse wasn't great (he's always so referential, translators miss stuff for him all the time) - a more accurate translation would be: "with blind faith, run all we can, that's how we do it all/that's how we proved it, seven marathon runners [film reference] with million dollar legs" and then the rest is close enough. He included the boys' names because, while he's expressed his gratitude to the members countless times over the years, sometimes even in song (like in Hangsang), he's never immortalized them in his lyrics and their music by name. So he wanted to do that here. Hope this helps shed a little clarity on his verse. )

Also I don't know if you checked the first song of this album, which is born singer. This song they've written based on J. Cole's born sinner, back in 2013 right after their debut. This song finally got the recognition and the place that it deserves. As the opening of their anthology album. Proof starts with the line "I'm a born singer" and ends it with "i'll be with you for the rest of my life"

not sure if you saw the news but yet to come definitely hits different knowing that the boys are preparing to focus on solo activities for the meantime in order to discover themselves as artists before coming back as bts stronger than before. namjoon says the group has been feeling burnt out, tired because its been 10 years and he feels like they've lost direction. while it definitely still hurts to see the boys cry in that video, real armys know its what bts wants and its what's best for them.

I haven't seen anyone explain the running man and flying man thing in Run BTS yet so I will do that real quick because it is important to know for at least one more BTS song in the older albums. I am half doing this from memory and half quoting from Doolset where I heard it in the first place, so credit goes to them. 뛰는 놈 위에 나는 놈 있다 which translated means "above a running man is a flying man" is an idiom that means that no matter how good you are, there will always be someone who is better than you. I personally think this could either be a reference to that idiom and that even though everyone says BTS are the best they stay humble knowing there is someone better or the exact opposite that they are the flying man, therefore better than everyone else which would fit the vibe of the verse better. It could also be a reference to Cypher 2: Triptych which has the same line also said by RM. (Cypher 2 is on the album Skool luv affair so definitely keep that in mind when reacting to that album) By the way I love how in depth you go and how genuinely invested you are. It is something that I don't see often with reactors especially for BTS and Kpop in general so big props to you. I hope when you have time you can also react to TXT who are under the same label as BTS (but do not expect the same sound) I would recommend their full length album "The chaos chapter: Freeze" released last year and their newest Minialbum "Minisode: Thursdays child has far to go" which deals with the five stages of grief (relating mostly to a break up) released just about a month ago.

Because you mentioned solo projects, j-hope just teased Hope World 2 again saying it would be "extremely dark & raw" which is WILD for him, not only because he typically (though not exclusively) tends toward brighter themes and sounds, but also because, while he's constantly sharing wisdom and gratitude and hope, he is quite private otherwise. We're anticipating it will come soon too because he is headlining a main stage at Lollapalooza end of July (making him the first Korean act to ever headline a main stage at a major US music festival) and his set is an hour long! His first solo project is just over 20 minutes long so we think new music is incoming FAST. I hope you'll check it out when it drops!!

It’s a Jcole cover of Born Sinner and it’s special bc BTS remade this song to tell their story, their dreams, and what they went through. They came out with it (on soundcloud) a month after their debut in 2013 and whenever they performed it (like in 2017 wings tour) they updated RMs section of the song. So for it to finally be an official track is so cool. Also I hope you check out disc 3 bc it has two unreleased songs. ( young love, quotation mark) and a bunch of demos and some of the earlier versions of songs are soooo different like Jhope’s DNA, RM’s Young Forever, and Jin’s epiphany. 💜💜💜💜

So Yet to Come is a promise to more wonderful music together! Run BTS is the first track on disc 2 - all their personally chosen individual track/unit track songs. For Youth is the final track on the album - it is a love letter to ARMY - the opening is the audience singing Forever Young to BTS at Wembley stadium back on the Love Yourself Tour. This track shows the beautiful relationship between ARMY and BTS. These tracks are all so special in their own ways!!

I am absolutely in love with these songs. They spoke, they delivered, they shared such beautiful things. I love going to your channel to hear and as you said, experience these songs with you. I think the line about 'walking, flying' those parts could come from "Not Today" and "You Never Walk Alone" that references the quote "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward (Marthin Luther King)". And both those songs talk about moving forward, not stopping, and doing it together/with each other. :") all 3 are flooding with references.

I love love love your comments on BTS, you have a very smart input. I cried again listening to Yet to Come and For Youth. The 3 songs are in my opinion a taste of BTS' new musical direction, and I'm loving it .

I seriously wish I had seen this before the BTS dinner because I got caught by bad transaltions. If I'd seen this I'd have kept my head about me and not panicked. Because these three songs tell it exactly like it is and I needed someone to remind me to listen, really LISGTEN to BTS, they never lie to us.
