All of NCT vocalist are SM's and kpop's most underrated vocalist. He's not really under-rated in NCT. There's pretty much only one 127 song where they didn't use him as a vocalist and it's "Whiplash." Even as rookies he's pretty much the only vocalist in "Switch." Also he's pretty much the star of NCT Music's channel. He definitely deserves it, he sings with so much emotion it's crazy. The way he sung in "Back 2 U" during the NEO City Origin Tour was just unbelievably incredible. He's amazing, NCT definitely uses his talent really well. It really is him being underrated whenever people talk about SM vocalist.

I don't think his underrated as a vocalist..SM definitely recognizes his vocals that's why his a main vocal in NCT127, he gets a pretty decent amount of lines and center stage in every comeback.. But I do think his underrated in terms of popularity and fame.. I was even surprised that out of all the NCT members, his one of the least popular, yes Doyoung has a pretty solid Fanbase in Korea, but overall popularity, his still probably in 7th or 8th place.. Like Haechan, Jaimen, Lucas, and Ten are more popular than Doyoung, and Chinese members rarely promotes in Korea except for Dream.. Compare this to Baekhyun during EXO debut years, Baekhyun was extremely popular during EXO debut years because SM was heavily promoting him.. So I feel like this is once again SM's fault, they should promote more the vocalist of NCT but the thing is NCT's music is heavily influence with Rap and hard choreography so that's probably why they would promote more the Rappers and dancers like Taeyong and Mark...

I have to say it... Doyoung isn't underrated. He has a lot of fans and many of them would say he is the best. And even if they say he isn't it doesn't mean he is bad? GOD!!! EXO has a ranking, Chen is the best, and saying baek or soo go after him is not disrespectful, because Chen is THAT good. Is the same with Taeil. Many nctzen have doyoung as second (even when there are other subunits, and saying dy is the second in NCT would mean the two main vocalist in 127 are better than the entire vocal line of the other subunits). And Taeil is THAT good, why is so insulting for you to have doyoung as second?
