PROOF that Kabam is LYING to us about battlegrounds matchmaking, giving noob accounts easy GC path!

I’ve been vocal about this since October and have done a few videos on the subject to include one getting direct Kabam response which I can now prove their response to my video (showing the ton of noob accounts in Gac) was a LIE! They would rather lie than admit their matchmaking system is rewarsing noobs accounts with easy path to GC rewards while thousands of paragon players are stuck in victory track getting worse rewards than accounts far weaker than them.

Good stuff. So frustrating. I have basically quit the mode. Given how long it takes to get a match in bronze just to rank for objectives, I am not alone.

I was quitting for first part of season but then did objectives. I was still in gold with about a week in season left then figured to just push to GC at the end because, well, I don't even know why other than that addiction that I'm fighting in reference to this game.

My honest reply to their response is that anyone who believe that canned overly convenient excuse they had should contact me to purchase a bridge I own in the desert that I'll sell at a good price. But seriously, I find their response way too convenient and I personally don't believe it for a second.

Post on forums has profiles with 5* already in GC. I'm thinking matchmaking got bugged along with seeding, hence the announcement mid season that kabam finally is dumping any matchmaking parameters totally, like they had no other way to fix it so they cut the head off completely

Wow, makes so much sense. The last couple seasons, I face NOTHING but 17k prestige players. I make the circuit & I used to make it within the first two weeks. Since Season 5 I don’t make it until the last couple of days. Last season, I couldn’t get in until the last day. I go on massive losing streaks too & that’s never happened b4. I was used too going on a handful of losses, but a handful turned into 15-20 losses & trust me, I’m far from a pro but I’m also far from a Noob ( I’ve got decent skill ) The last 2 seasons I’ve had to spend to get Victory Shields in order to get into the circuit. Once I reach certain tiers, it’s like you can’t get out of em & I have to keep being persistent, Nvm the amount of time we have to invest. Then I go to the Circuit leaderboards & I’m seeing 4K-6k Prestige accounts ( oddly all of em have “The Abyss Stared Back” title ) & I guess Kabam doesn’t see anything Suspect about that. But I think to myself, how the hell did these players make it & I’m stuck? I’m 15k Prestige & I have a teammate who’s around 10k & I’ve asked him, do you face players around the same level as you? He told me once in a while, but he faces nothing but TB & Paragon. Tbh, there’s random times I get matched against a player who’s got a 5* as there top player.

It's absolutely ruined BGs to where I haven't done a single match this season, in fact, I'm so annoyed with how Kabam is handling BG I'm barely even logging into game at all over past week

I agree can’t get passed silver 3. After seeing the cheating bad matchups and bad roster picks after bans. I only push through to get solo objectives. Another way for noobs to play catch up while day one vets and paragons get screwed. Arenas are even worse with bots and noobs having all the latest champs. Too much cheating and holding back skilled a full roster players.

The matching is ridiculous but it's the fact the lower accounts have such an easy path to GC and this has been knon for 6 months but still an issue is what annoys me.

Getting stuck in the Victory Track sucks. The victory track should be a finite problem, not a possibly infinite problem. If you can't win 3 in a row to progress then let people progress after winning 6 or 7 total matches at each level. Only consume victory shields for a loss, people use them a lot more if winning match didn't cost you a 100 credit shield. Its a fun mode, but too frustrating to keep its momentum going with how hard progression is. But I will say skill does matter. I am a decent player and my roster is much stronger than Jason Vorhees but that dude beat me down in 4 matches last season.

Awesome response. The big thing is winning 3 in a row while being only matches against the best players in the game (which will be case for the strongest accounts) is insanely difficult and requires far more than skill as some luck is in there as well. We've all been in the situation where we lost to someone with weaker accounts than ourselves or not even as skilled, but that draft, bans and even draft order can do enormous amounts to the overall factors. Even the most skilled player is going to struggle if they have to go up against a hulking, rintrah, abs man, havok, etc without a rather limited and fairly specific counter.

It took me nearly 3 weeks once i got into diamond 1 to get into vibranium/uru. I faced either really high power rated champs or cheaters. One example of a cheater i faced beat my electro while using a non skill champ and won at full hp. No prof x or n9n contact champ used, cant remember thr champ used, but it made me so mad about that. Even players with the legend tag who were weaker than me beat me and im like how? Mag white was beat in 20 seconds by a metal champ of odin??? Sure damage may not be capped like red mags, but ability accuracy goes down so sp2 shouldnt go off that often.

I don't understand what stacked account players are looking for from BG. Do you want most your matchups to be easy wins based on fighting weaker rosters? Do you want more matchups against rosters of your own quality? Do you want matchups that are an equal number of matchups both against better and worse rosters than yours? I'm TB, and here's how my matchups were over 84 matches I tracked: 52.98% of opponents had better rosters than me 20.50% of opponents had equal rosters to me 26.53% of opponent's had worse rosters than me Are Paragon players having more than ~53% of their matchups against better rosters? Personally I don't have a problem with weaker rosters fighting weaker rosters. Just also make sure they get weaker rewards. If BG just matches all rosters equally regardless of roster and skill, then more people will stop playing BG. And the more weaker players and low rosters that leave, the more high skill and high roster the remaining players will be... which will then lead to more players to stop playing.

It's about fairness. No stacked account wants to sit around and beat up on 6k prestige accounts all day. But we also do NOT want that 6k account getting a near free pass to GC, thereby getting better rewards than players far stronger than them who can't get out of victory track because it's extremely difficult continuously winning 3-4 in a row when you go against nothing but the best players in the game every single tier starting in bronze. For me, two solutions are fine. First, let everyone keep going for same rewards but change to where anyone in that tier can face each other, much like AW. As in AW, it sorta out over time, however resets would hurt this Other option is have separate leagues. These leagues would keep players in their roster area but would have different rewards.

@@mcocalbundyrules9946 Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. I understand those issues now, and agree with them. I think one issue BG has to deal with, is the ability to find matches quickly. This makes placing players in different matchmaking pools a problem. This also makes having more players stop playing BG a problem. Another issue BG has to deal with is that many players will not play if they either (a) don't feel like the fights are fair, or (b) they just lose, or (c) they can't reliably get results that make it worthwhile, or (d) it just makes them feel bad, or (e) they don't think the rewards are fair. And another issue BG has to deal with is spending players feel like they should at least not have a disadvantage, and many feel like they should have an advantage. And yet another issue BG has is Kabam is not being pubic about how pairing works, Kabam is not public about what % of each tier of players are getting what results, nobody really trusts Kabam (at least on many individual issues), and nobody trusts the potential of other players not to cheat (or start cheating if BG doesn't lock it down). And yet still another issue, is that Kabam wants to use BG to motivate people to grow and upgrade their roster. Yet when players do so, Kabam then punishes them by sticking them in a death bracket. Players are now finding that gaming the system may be their best bet, and that may mean NOT upgrading their roster in order to score better matchups. Which then can put it at odds with things they need to do for optimizing for other modes.

Bruhh 😂 you are so fucking right .. I am a TB player and I have only 1 rank 4 with 4 rank 3's .. Like my Bg roster is filled with Rank 2's , 3's and and 1 rank 4 along with some maxed out 5 stars .. But ..😂 you won't believe in VT I've always matched paragon players and legends with the same .. And in GC THIS one is hilarious I matched Munash like WTF bruhh he has a Yt channel you can see his roster guys got all rank 4's on his deck .. I am just so fed up with BG match making they so fucking limitation or a code that restricts them to match higher players super shit man ..

It is always Gold 1 vs Gold 1. Account progress does not matter as long as they are the same ranking in BG.

I just put in another complaint about Battlegrounds It’s funny how the program searches for an opponent and you can’t even see WHO you are agreeing to fight So I keep getting paired against Paragon players or Legends This is SO UNFAIR I JUST GET KILLED AND KILLED TIME AFTER TIME AFTER TIME IT ISNT WHAT I CALL FUN

What's unfair is lower players like YOU expecting to get the same and better rewards than those with way stronger accounts than you without having to face them. What you are saying is beyond entitled and players like you and Kabam catering to players like you for so long is why I quit the game.
