I was a Muslim for a little longer than a year, but I was not spiritually fed and felt nothing spiritually significant. I took my shahada, I read the Quran, I wore the hijab, I observed Ramadan, I prayed 5 times daily (Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha) and I even learned a little extra Arabic as a bonus. I absolutely did NOT want Christianity to be the answer, but I prayed always for God to show me the REAL TRUTH, whatever that was. And yes, I ended up finding out it was Christianity all along. No other religion will absolutely give you a brand new heart and transform you like the TRUTH will. The Bible is not corrupted, we have found ancient versions that say the same thing, it is just that some versions today exclude certain passages because those translators were corrupted, not the text itself. I will pray that after your journey to learn about other faiths, the Lord will lead you back home, as He did with me. ❤ PS: If you felt no real transformation when you were a Christian then it was only because you did not wholeheartedly try to know it. If my child came home from school and said he was a Muslim I would not be upset, but rather maybe even happy that He is trying to find out the truth about God and that he is exploring faith. It's not a problem, but just a step he takes to hopefully find out the TRUTH, in the end. If he came home and said he was gay, I would know that I either failed him as a parent or that he has some sort of demon that needs to be confronted and removed immediately. Muhammad specifically in the quran stated that the bible is the true word of God that came before the quran and isnt corrupted. States the bible is true in numerous passages throughout the quran. It's likely she just didnt know this. So if the quran states the bible is the incorruptable word of God, then the quran is simply false. Muhammad states about the bible in the quran as the "book that came before", the bible being the true word of God, and incorruptable. Hence the quran is false. Just need to pray for them. The first passage you quoted was 2 Chronicles 7:14 which states, " 14 If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." You used this to try and show God doesn't require sacrifices for the atonement of one's sins, to quote you again, "See, nothing about killing. No sacrifice. Just turn from your sins, & repent. It doesn’t say, “believe Jesus died on a cross for forgiveness." Except 2 Chronicles takes place in the Old Testament and the chapter you used does talk about animal sacrifice. I encourage you to read the entire chapter (the entire Bible really) 2 Chronicles 7:1-5 "When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. 2 And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the Lord’s house. 3 When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the LORD, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever. 4 Then the king and all the people offered SACRIFICES before the LORD. 5 King Solomon offered a SACRIFICE of twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God." That's A LOT of SACRIFICES Continuing from 6-11. " 6 And the priests attended to their services; the Levites also with instruments of the music of the LORD, which King David had made to praise the LORD, saying, “For His mercy endures forever,” whenever David offered praise by their ministry. There were so many sacrifices and offerings that they didn't fit on the bronze altar Solomon had made! Remember this is still in the Old Testament so all these 144,000 total sacrificed animals were NECESSARY because at this time God still had to be honored through blood sacrifice, both for atonement and as a demonstration of fellowship with God. And God approved in fact he later appears to Solomon and says in verses 12-16, 12 Then the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: “I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of SACRIFICE. 13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. 16 For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.” Yes, prayer was and is important the difference now is that back then the people of God still needed to sacrifice and give offerings, as seen throughout this whole chapter and the Old Testament in general. Why did they have to sacrifice animals in order to be forgiven? It really goes back all the way to Adam and Eve, after they sinned by eating the apple and disobeying God they saw they were naked. God had mercy on them, killed an animal, and covered them. This shows how animal sacrifice provided a temporary covering of sins (literally for Adam and Eve lol). In Hebrews 9:22 it says, "Indeed, UNDER THE LAW (law of Old Testament) almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." Even Noah sacrificed animals to God after the flood and God found the aroma pleasing (Genesis 8:20-21) All of this foreshadowed the perfect and complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ. and it brings me into your next passage from Matthew 9:13

This part is important because Jesus does what only God can do, forgive man of their sins as you see in verse 2 the people around him even said Jesus was saying blasphemy! How could a mere man forgive sins?! To which Jesus responds by asking them what is easier to say? Get up and walk or I forgive you of your sins? 6 "But that ye may know that the Son of Man (aka Jesus) hath power on earth to forgive sins." Now as far as saying, it's easier to say your sins be forgiven you because who can tell, you know, immediately what happened. If you say arise and walk, that's really harder to say because, if the guy doesn't arise and walk you say hey, he doesn't have anything. Now if you see him get up and walk that can bring immediate demonstration of whether or not there's any power in what you'd said. It immediately puts it on the line because now we can have a physical demonstration to either prove or disprove the power of your word. So "What is easier to say, Your sins be forgiven, or Arise and walk?" It's a lot easier to say your sins be forgiven. In other words, I'll give you a demonstration of the power of My word so that you may know that I have the power to forgive sins because you can't see the spiritual work within, but we'll give you some physical evidence. Here he is clearly saying HE IS GOD only God can forgive sins, and here no animal sacrifice is made nor offering given. As for the "Son of Man" title that Jesus often calls himself, it's a reference back to a prophecy in Daniel 7:13-14 "13 In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a SON OF MAN, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory, and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshipped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed."

Jesus is also saying he's not there for the "Righteous" which the Pharisees claimed to be but for the sinners, as he said previously, "A healthy person doesn't need a doctor, but the sick people do! That's who I'm here for" So Jesus knew he was going to be crucified and he knew he was the ultimate sacrifice, he came to complete a New Covenant not just with the Jews but with anyone and everyone who believes in him. Jesus' death made sure that no one had to sacrifice animals or burn offerings for forgiveness of their sins, but more importantly like in the well-known John 3:16 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life." And NO Jesus was not created he was not begotten like the rest of us were by our mothers and fathers i.e. sexually. The reason why those three lines of scripture aren’t in certain translations of the Bible is because of a discipline of scriptural analysis and interpretation called Textual Criticism… No, it doesn’t mean to criticize and oppose the text/scripture… it means to search through ancient manuscripts and find which is the most accurate translation and ensure there was nothing added or taken away. What happens in this particular situation is that an earlier manuscript was found (after that modern English translation was produced and published) did not have those three lines of scripture, i.e. a much earlier Greek manuscript for the B’rit Chadashah (Christians call The New Testament) and the Hebrew if it’s the TaNaK Torah, Nevi’im, Ketuvim; that is, Instruction, Prophets, and Writings… there is no corruption, that concept is a VERY recent Sunni idea from a very specific sect that has created this rumor that the Bible is corrupted. Mohammed said that the Old and New Testament were the complete infallible, true word of God (Allah) and that it couldn’t be corrupted or changed, also calling both an earlier testimony and revelation from God… Nothing has been changed… How do we know? We have THOUSANDS UOON THOUSANDS of Hebrew Torah Scrolls, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Greek copies of the Besorot that provide us great insight into whether anything has changed… there were no errors found… only a few spelling mistakes from scribal error. If Mohammed says the TaNaK and New Testament are the true and faithful words of the most high, then to say that it is not is to contradict Mohammed, your prophet… so, either someone in very recent history is lying (a result of the Wahhabist movement in the 19th century) or Mohammed, and I know you don’t think the prophet is lying…. It can’t be both the infallible word of God (as Mohammed described it in Quran and Hadiths) and corrupt.

It sounds like she doesn’t read much of the Bible or Quran in my opinion. If she read the Quran she would know that in 6:115 of the Quran it says that allah’s word can’t be changed or converted. If this is true then the Bible is true because they believe it’s a “former revelation of god”. If the Bible’s true then the Quran is wrong due to Galatians 1:8 which says “ But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be accursed” this debunks their whole religion. I’m not getting on to her I just think that she should just listen to people but also read and study to see if they’re correct

Differnt kind of Quran: There are more than 30 different Arabic Korans in circulation today. The 4 main different types of reading of the Koran. 1) Hafs (Kufa) 95% 2) Warsh (Medina)3% 3) Al-Dori 4) Qaloon The Hafs Koran was canonised in 1924 in Cairo and is now the standard used by 95% of Muslims. It was based on “oral traditions”, and not on any manuscript. There are at present at least 30 different texts of the Koran in circulation today with not just accentual, but consonantal differences as well. Differences between Hafs and Warsh Korans. There are 51 words out of 77,439 in total in Warsh which have a different reading than Hafs when translated to the English language Q 2:125 in Hafs is وَاتَّخِذوْا “WatakhIzu” (You shall take) / In Warsh it is وَاتَّخَذوْا “WatakhAzu” (They have taken/made). In Q2:125 the subject being addressed is that of “Maqam Ibrahim”. One version gives a command/order, while the other states a historical fact/observation. * 3:146 in Hafs is قاتل “Qatal” (Fought) / In Warsh it is ُقتل “Qutil” (Were Killed). In 3:146 the difference is between a prophet and those with him being killed, while in the other the difference only means that they fought by his side. * Verse counts for Hafs are 6236; while Warsh records 6214 (other versions record 6616, 6217, 6204, and 6262). Differences with Standard Hafs 1924 Cairo Edition and Topkapi Q9:72 The words -dhalika “huwa” -that is. The word “huwa” is added in later in a different hand and nib to comply with Hafs Koran1924. Q66:8. The word “Allah” is added later to the Topkapi also to comply. Q1:38 “He revealed” (Topkapi) Hafs “We reveal” Q3:158 “Shall not be gathered” (Topkapi) Hafs “”undoubtedly be gathered” The Topkapi manuscript has been dated to about the early to mid 8th century. The manuscript is over a century younger than “Uthmans Korans”. There are 2 pages missing containing 23 verses. ‘The Topkapi has 2,270 consonantal differences. 22% of this Mushaf are missing or unreadable.
