The toilets have been in use in Australia for years, a country which is mostly desert needs to conserve as much water as possible and so, uses the water from hand washing to help fill the toilet bowl when you flush.

I love Japan. From their chicken and noodles with sauce to their crochet patterns that are in graphs with symbols instead of long long pages of lines for say "Amigurumi" which was created in Japan and means "little toys." They create Anime, Pokemon, little dogs with different breeds, characters from tv shows, etc. As a bird lover, I found many patterns for crocheting little birds (2 inches) to hang on my 2-foot All seasons "fake" lighted birch tree. I've even found a pattern to make a tree for birds using crochet and crocheting it around PVC piping (for plumbing.) It will stand at 4 ft tall with three branches and there are patterns for three seasons of leaves, flowers, and/or apples. We can even put a hole little in the middle of the trunk for me to crochet various birds (to change with the seasons) like an owl or woodpecker to nest and her nestlings to stick their heads out of the hole. It is gorgeous. So "origami" is making things using paper, like birds, etc. But Amigurumi is crocheting kids toys or a collection of what ppl love - "small toys" (translation,.) Japan started both of these wildly popular crafts, esp here in the USA. It is very popular and taken seriously among crafters here. Japan's inventions have become an obsession in the U.S. and Japan is renowned for these inventions and I'm sure for many others as well. They are gentle people and very very innovative and creative. They are wonderful to write great crochet patterns for us here in the US, but the patterns using the overall graph and symbols of stitches and colors of yarn are so intelligent. I tell new crocheters if they just google the Japanese graph terms, they will find the answers. Five years ago I bought a book from Japan via Amazon with 50 crochet bird patterns with at least 30 bird species in it plus trees, plants, etc. It included mates and fledglings, nests, etc. I just fell in love. My 33 yr old daughter loves Japan. If I wasn't so disabled and poor, I would love to visit Japan and take my 33 yr old daughter who has loved Japan since her teens. She has loved Anime books, and their styles of clothes and has even tried learning the language. Thank you, Japan for all you have blessed my family with. God bless you. And thank you, Amazing Facts, for your interesting facts. I am a non-fiction lady and I love learning. Glad your channel popped up. Today, I am a new sub. Thanks and God bless you. :)

I worked in a Japanese Factory in Missouri (Toyada Gosai - Toyota Plastics). They have an automated trolley train that pulls carts so finished products are placed on a cart from the production machine. Each machine puts finished product and also recieves raw materials the same way (eliminating the need to run for supplies) These trains also play classical music as they go around

Blue & green have (or had) the same name in many languages throughout the world. When I was young las, or glas (I'm not going to explain why) were used for both in Welsh. Now las is blue and green is gwyrdd (say it smoothly as goo-i-r-th - i as in hit, dd is a hard th, roll the r). I believe that las is sometimes still used for green. Classical Greek didn't have a word for blue, either (the "wine dark sea" for those who read Homer.) And many people who are native to rainforests can distinguish many more shades of green than the rest of us, but their abilities to distinguish between green and blue, or more than a few very different shades of blue (depending on who, where, etc) are nonexistent. Language and colour are incredibly complicated!

Oh absolutely! I'm learning, not brilliantly but I'm doing it for myself and fun, Welsh, Japanese, Gaelic Irish and Latin. I've been amazed at how often many words are similar to that of other languages, even ones where the characters are completely different like Japanese there are sometimes similarities or outright it's obvious what a word means. I'll never be fluent but I enjoy looking at something and in my head going through what it is in different languages. It keeps my brain going too 😊

Within three, four minutes the food was warmed to eat! I've really got into Japanese Travel Vlogs, and attempting Japanese not too badly on Duolingo just for the fun of it. Some of the words are fabulous especially the ao of blue sounding like you've injured yourself 😂 I love seeing the Japanese capsule hotels, such tiny rooms but the amenities are out of this world and free! They're so clean too, everywhere it's outstanding. It's an amazing beautiful country ❤️ Fantastic video, made me quite happy thank you 😊

I think some of those robot restaurants actually are remote work drones. I vaguely remember one version where they employ disabled people who remotely work through the robots.
@sonny9054
@sonny9054 8 ай бұрын
Your insight serves you well. The robots in this vid are mostly Pepper, created by SoftBank Ltd. These things don’t have an outside controller. Same with Ashimo from Honda, dancing at the end of that segment. But as you have pointed out correctly, there are programs to help the disabled to join the workforce by using robots that can be controlled remotely. But this is an entirely different initiative. I am not up to date as to how successful the trial went with this program, but it was done at a very small scale as far as I had followed it.

Wow, I bet Japan has a lot of traffic problems since red/blue color blindness is pretty much the most common. Having ridden in a vehicle with someone who had the most extreme version and had them see red arrows as green I can tell you it's a terrifying experience. Which is why we need to make the colors have shapes, too, because color blindness is no fun on the road.

Red-Green colour blindness would affect drivers in every country not just Japan since, as evidenced in the video, the international standard is red for stop and green for go. People with red-green colour blindness tend to focus on the position of the light (top vs bottom) rather than the colour red or green. Or so I’ve heard 😅

20 m² is a palace. Not until recently (maybe a year ago or so), I've had a 4 m² room with my bed, desk, bookcase, AND wardrobe in it. Just add a bathroom and a basic kitchen, and you have a fully functional house in under 20 m² all with the privacy of having your own place. Edit: Let's not mention the messed up law-system there. I forgot why exactly (probably has something to do with honour), but if you're deemed innocent there's a high chance you'll still be punished as if guilty.

Hi from Japan. My place is about 170 square meters so I guess it depends on your preference and budget. With regard to our law enforcement, I just want to stress that we are no North Korea. Indeed, the detention period extension rules favor the prosecutors, but it is mighty difficult for the police to get an arrest warrant which kind of balances things out. Having said that, our society is pretty tough on drugs and assault cases.

Hi Hood. I live in Huntington Beach, CA and everyone ♥️s Dennys, i don't care who u r. 😜 They still have the kick ass Superbird but it's with turkey breast, bacon n swiss on artisan bread. I would def go with the exact SD u used and thee best shredded hash browns. I ask them to do them on the crunchy side. 😋 I also get a couple of eggs on the side. 😉 Dammnnn!!!

The transparent toilet doesn't work anymore. The air temperature was too cold for the glass to work as expected.
