The way I cried like a little kid when Matty said he was proud of himself 😭 I’ve been praying for him for a long time and one of the things I wrote down was for him to not live for the approval of humans and he just articulated this. I’m so so excited for this album because I think it’s speaks to maturity & a greater level of honesty. It’s like he’s saying things minus the metaphorical language now & im so so here for it.

Heard Matt play in London a month ago in a small intimate setting, the best gig I've ever been to and some of the new tracks are his best music yet. It's so eye opening for me to see Matt being vulnerable and I can't wait to see him live in Amsterdam. Despite this, I still regard Rainbow Valley as his best work (considering the songs released until now), that album is an entire experience and I don't even know how they managed to pull those sounds as they sound so organic. Is one of the (if not the) albums which most influenced me and made me recconect with the nature. But I'm glad he's proud of his last work and ready to tour. I hope he knows all of his discography sounds organic and unique, and he shall be proud of that too.
