This rules! I was once going to see Propagandhi back in '01, but someone either got injured or sick so they didn't show, and I wish I had been able to see them. They have the politics and speed of a punk band, but the professionalism and skill of a well-established metal band.

Wow, came across this and yeah this is one great performance. Saw them live in 96 in Hannover Germany for the first time and even tho their sound changend over the years, it‘s still one of my favorite bands. Great upload!

This was definitely the best era of the band

There’s no bad era of this band at all. Like what are you talking about? Do You mean sound, album, or lineup?

@@gramsci420 I wonder why they don’t play Albright Monument Baghdad live anymore? Without a doubt my favorite Prop song

I couldn’t say for certain but if I had to guess, the song is probably not all that timely anymore. A lot of shit has gone down in Iraq since then obviously and they have other songs dealing with the subject now which aren’t quite so dated. I also think that’s why when they redid Today’s Empires they dropped the bit at the beginning of Mate Ka Moris Ukun Rasik An about the freedom song of the people of East Timor. East Timor has been free for a while now so it wouldn’t make sense. The gambit of being a political band I suppose is your material dates easily

This is truly awesome, and it looks kind of familiar. Was it part of the Potemkin release or maybe even promotional material?
