It’s like the Tyee on steroids! And the tyee is already on steroids ha ha so the spindrift must be really going for it

and in these storage areas + where the brake cables pass, don't you think the aluminum will crack?

How does it compare to the Tyee (i assume you have the cf6). I am in doubt between the two. Is there a size difference? I am a bit taller (6,4) then you? How about stability and paddeling performace? Thanks!
@ryanmrodriguez2 ай бұрын
@@atzedevries9563 stability and peddling is out of this world. Especially stability. I basically felt invincible. The spindrift is a bit longer, which would be more suitable for a tall guy!

Loved it! I am 178cm tall. I am thinking about getting an M or an L. What would you chose?
@ryanmrodriguez3 ай бұрын
hmm haha you might truly be between sizes. I ALWAYS think going up is the way. Unless you literally ONLY ride flow trails. Having a longer reach to me means being able to better lower your center of gravity into the bike for going super fast and braking control.

Ryan nice video. Why an XL and not a L? You ride it as if it was a L.
@ryanmrodriguez3 ай бұрын
Good question! I love having plenty of room to lower my center of gravity into the bike (aka get into attack position) when going fast or riding steep chunky terrain. Also helps me with front brake control is super steep situation. When my cockpit is to close to my knees I lose leverage to optimally control how the bike pivots under me in said terrain! Also, I have worked a lot on my cornering and flat corning fundamentals and really like how a longer wheel base corners. Now, if I ONLY rode smooth jump lines and did jibs like I did way back when, I miiiight consider a smaller bike...but I like riding like a mountain biker ;) seems easy enough to backflip..as long as I can commit and not wimp out mentally hahaha
