I just got my micro drone from a friend and they had put it together and all that, but I needed to learn on my own. I am so glad I found this video! It told me all that I needed to know. The front and back and the corresponding lights with propellors... Mine was put together incorrectly. So I stopped the video and ripped off the prop's and put them back on. The final bit of the show said that the prop's needed to be in correspondence with the motors. Uh-oh. I looked and WHEW~!! I got lucky and had them on correctly. Now it's my time to try and get some flight time in. Thanks for this excellent and most useful video. I'm sure I'll be back and watching it over and over. 👍👍

I don't post much.. but if you buy this thing... you'll be charging the unit for about 6 hours for 20 minutes of recovery.... every time you take off and trim.... trim changes as soon as you put any directional input into the controls... so you spend the rest of the 4 minutes of flight time recovering what it's doing... watch all the vids, you'll notice nobody actuall flys this thing except for this guy and 1 other guy... good luck!

It takes practice to fly this. You can't expect to be perfect at it right out of the box. This is a cool little machine. Flew it over 30ft in the air and couldn't see it lol.

I'm just a tiny bit late, but I've been able to use a tiny screwdriver to switch the tiny piece of intact switch from off to on. It's finicky but it saves me from buying a new one

Found this thingy in my closet didnt even know I had one charged it up and went to flight, my first 2 days of flight were fine until I got mines stuck on the roof due to bad control configuration had to get It down, today I had a problem where it wouldn't even take off, I fixed it by putting on the propellers the correct way and it's up and flying now. 5/10 It's a fun drone to play around with if you get bored easily like me

Bounce it off a hard surface. Controller was off (previously when on red controller light blinked). Drone charged. Disconnected the drone and turned it on. The white leds were on and the red lights were slowly flashing. Threw it mildly down from upright position at a height of about 6 inches onto hardwood floor to bounce it. The 3rd time the white and red leds stated to rapidly flashed. Turned on controller. The controller light was continuously on and beeped. Sync'd and was able fly.

I have 2 different larger Propel drones, and call it operator error, but they are both crap to try to fly. The larger one just goes screaming into kamikaze mode and crashes instantly. The smaller one drifts to my left no matter how much I press the trim button, and one propeller is an air to air missile and keeps flinging itself across the room. The smaller drone plummets when it launches the one propeller (did I mention the propellers are press on? no screws, just held on by friction) If you're flying/enjoying your drones, I'm glad for you. This is just expressing my experience with Propel products. They do make for a nice drone port diorama on my DVD shelf.

Found it to be the most stable to fly out if this and the red5 nano which has shitty rx. Will try a Q4 next. This will have better flight time but less stability with normal props.

I broke my propeller before i even had it fly and could not find additional parts anywhere. I finally found this listing on Amazon and it works. I cant tell if I had the original propellers if it would fly better but these seem to do great. I would like to know what someone else thinks so reply please if you order these. It took 12 days to deliver them but it was better than no propellers.

I think this is the same thing as the one I just got from Walgreen's for $30, doesn't say "Atom" and different colors. I like mine, no problems yet, good for in the house, easy to fly. If you expect blazing speed, instant reaction time or great performance outside get a bigger one.

Propel, why you don't program these to HOVER in place???? Some of us don't have HOURS to sit around and perfect the art of hovering. Also if it would just stay at a level it would be A WHOLE LOT MORE FUN TO FLY. Taking mine back.

Yes, the controller for air and atom 1.0 are different. You can only use the air controller for air micro drone.

you know, Propel i have tried to become a member so that i could BUY replacement parts from you. After 4 Months if trying ill use the atom / Micro Zip base models (the boards) in my own home made drone, i could never get any support on the models so here what anyone needs to know. Motor Size: 6mm by 15mm .8mm shaft Battery size: 100 mah lipo/ li ion, those are the 2 parts that will always fail. But if you lucky to be a member, im sure they will have your back. Good thing the board is well labeled too i really do appreciate it.

Okay.. So in size comparison Phantom 2-4 Series, then the Mavic and Mavic Pro, then the DJI Spark, then the Propel Atom Micro Drone then there might be a Nano Drone. I have a theory that humans will use these Micro Drones to explore the human body or when doing a surgery they can use this to easily navigate to the system

Hi PIPPINGAMING, 30-45 minutes will make the unit fully charge then it can last up to 7-10 minutes but is still depends on the environment and user input.

My atom 1.0 lights stay solid now when I turn it on and it is fully charged. The remote light blinks now and will not sync or fly the drone. I only played with this thing for a couple hours so I'm glad I didn't pay much for it.

the problem with my charger USb is that the light does not stay off while it is charging for the full 30 minutes like it is supposed to... supposedly it should stay off when its charging but with mine after like 2 or 3 minutes it comes back on
