Why is IC convex due to decreasing MRS (Marginal Rate of Substitution)

@@Rajkumar-oh5vl Because to gain an additional unit of good x , less and less units of good y is being sacrificed. It means MRS is declining or diminishing and therefore due to diminishing MRS IC is convex.

For examination how many features we should write

एक Normal IC क्यों origin के तरफ़ convex होता है ?

IC is CONVEX to origin due to Decreasing MRS. And MRS declines due to Law of DMU.

All the points on an INDIFFERENCE CURVES gives equal satisfaction as a consumer is indifferent and thus he can't differentiate between the satisfaction as he is getting same level of satisfaction from all the bundles present on an IC.

Ek IC par jitne bhe points (bundles) hai , consumer ko har jagah same satisfaction milta hai. Wo chahe koi bhe bundle kyun na le.

MRS stands for Marginal Rate of Substitution Means the rate at which we sacrifice one good to gain an additional unit of another good. MRS = ∆Loss ÷ ∆Gain
