Thank you for this video. We just recently purchased a home here on the Oregon coast and have lived in it now for 8 months. This is our first year in a house as new homeowners. Your insight helped me understand the process a little better. Our situation is a little different as our home is in a CLT (Community Land Trust) and although you didn't mention about that in the video, the core principles you talked about seemed like they are still the same. We haven't received out tax statement as of yet but when we do, I am hoping for "yellow" but even if it's "green"", I still think we will be ok because we have Escrow that has been deducted ever since we purchased. (still hoping for yellow though.) (LOL) Thanks again for the video, It helped me allot.

@@workshopmortgage We got the tax bill for our home. It was green but we went into our account this morning and saw that our bank, (who is our Mortgage lender) paid that tax in full today. It was taken from money they were putting away every month into our Escrow account. We are supposed to be getting another separate bill for the tax on the land our house sits on but haven't seen that as of yet. Hopefully that will be coming soon because it's due on November 15th and we don't want to be delinquent.
