Thank you very much, Fr. MacPherson and Andrew. It seems that not only do those prophecies mentioned give us a verification of Jesus as our Christ, but they are also interesting and integral from the standpoint that the Eternal Father used them to verify to us who He sent as our Christ even down to why Jesus' legs were not broken (like the angel staying Abraham's hand from killing Isaac). The Eternal Father says: "This is My Beloved Son in Whom I AM well pleased." Thinking along these same lines, it is quite interesting to look at Apocalypse 12:14,15 with that same approach. All the prelates who gathered for Vatican II came to Rome on the vehicle of the Council of Trent. Those that went home on that same vehicle were of the True Church... UNCHANGED!... not the new church, ie Novus Ordo; the vehicle not of tradition, but of modernism after having highjacked the Truth and replacing it with the lie. Apocalypse 12:14 speaks of the "Woman"... Holy Mother Church... as having been given "two wings of a great eagle" ...obviously Archbishop Lefebvre and Bishop de Castro Mayer. Then back again to Apocalypse 12:14: "...that She might fly into Her place, where She is nourished for a time and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent." The preservation of the True Mass and the True Sacraments are what preserves and nourishes Holy Mother Church now in the spiritual desert in which we find ourselves (same-sex marriage, LGBTQ, abortion/murder of the unborn, idolatry, pedophilia, homosexuality, etc ..."the river of filth" mentioned in both verses 15 and 16). Therefore Apocalypse 12:15 tells us how God rescued Holy Mother Church and has kept Her from being carried away by the river. That river is undoubtedly the river of the sins of the flesh that Our Lady of Fatima, the Prophetess of our times, told Jacinta about. It is absolutely no coincidence that John XXIII rejected Our Lady of Fatima's prophecies and refused to read the Third Secret. The Eternal Father used that rebellion to point out to the world the Divine veracity of the Fatima revelations and the instrumentality of the SSPX in saving His Church and His children. All of us must remember what Apocalypse 12:17 prophesies and is in the process of being fulfilled: "And the dragon was angry against the Woman: and went to make war with the rest of Her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." (Christ is the Author of the Traditions of our Faith.) MAY THIS BE US TILL THE END! MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, AND NOT FRANCIS, ALWAYS BE OUR GUIDE! MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PENTECOST IMBUE US WITH THE TRUTH, THAT IS OUR TRIUNE GOD AND OUR CHRIST, THIS PENTECOST DAY AND ALWAYS BRING US TO HIS TRUTH!

I think prophecies are put into language and symbols, so that the evil side cannot use it to do evil. But when an event happens, or during, people of faith will see the plan of God.

I think some of the prophets may have little to no idea what they were saying. Look at the high priest. He said it is better for one man to die than a whole nation. Somehow the prophets were compelled to say what they said. What were the Jewish leaders looking for? A conqueror…. Maybe. Maybe they could not see their sins . Thank you. Interesting talk.

Why doesn’t god just appear to us ??? Probably cuz fantasy characters don’t ever appear. There I didn’t need to spend a lifetime synchronizing fantastic mumbo jumbo facts with a fairy tale
