What a wonderful trip this film was when we saw it for the first time, 1983. Life altering moment.

This video is by far one of the best I have ever seen. It seems something mystical to me, I imagine as if the synthesizer were a thinking machine trying to deal with its own existence beyond what its purpose is. As if he only realized that he is alone and destined for nothing more than to fulfill the purpose for which he was created.

When I listen to this, I imagine space. Whether it be 100 years into the future or 500 possibly even more. We would attempt to colonize other planets. Some attempts are successful. Some are not and that’s what I see when I hear this. A planet once the center of colonization is now abandoned, only a quarter of it was colonized but nonetheless there are a couple of cities devoid of any human presence, ghost towns, abandoned power plants and farms. All of this lost because of an oversight and I prefer not to imagine what caused for the planet to be abandoned.

i dont understand music at all. but i get sometimes ideas about melodies i like and i try as good as i can to translate them to words in order to remember them later. its not crypric or anything klike that. just me not getting music theory at all. or notes for that matter. notes would make a whole stuff a lot more easy
