Whats a good Orthodox bible? I dont have one and I heard its the masoretic text. Thanks. I do not have one and just want the best option. Thank you.

The Orthodox Old Testament is from the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures). Protestant translators use the masoretic text. Having said that, I like the Revised Standard Version published by Ignatius Press, a Roman Catholic publisher. Also the Orthodox Study Bible by Nelson and Ancient Faith.

@@saintedward318 I dont do Roman Catholicism. Romans are unorthodox. As are their bibles. To include other bibles like the NIV, ESV, NKJV which are masonic in nature aka luciferian.

The Orthodox New Testament, in 2 volumes, is the best for study, closest to the Greek, with plenty of patristic commentary all throughout justifying the translation decisions.
