May the people of Israel turn from their sins and turn to the Son sent by God so that the Lord protects them. Otherwise, anyone reading the rest of Amos will see that the curses in store for Israel are in the same prophecy and are terrible indeed. And chapter 5 makes clear that this occurs on the Day of the Lord for all these nations because of their sins. Dark and terrible days lie ahead for Israel, and it is the Lord who brings them upon Israel as warned by His prophets Amos, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and others.

I assure you that if you read all the prophecy of Amos through chapter 9, you will see that the Lord also warns of even worse things He will do to Israel. Because this is not about 2024, but about what will happen on the Day of the Lord, God even shames Israel partway through chapter 5 for thinking good things are in store for them on the Day of the Lord when he acts.

If you read ALL of Amos and ignore the chapter breaks (this is all one prophecy) you will see that this occurs on the Day of the Lord, not 2024. The prophecy also continues about what terrible things God will do to Israel at that time because of their sin as well. He even tells them it will occur on the Day of the Lord partway through chapter 5 and shames them for thinking it will be a good day for them.

But since you asked about Ephesians 2 and Galatians 3, I will oblige. In Ephesians 2: 11-22, Paul in a nutshell says: "Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)- remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, EXCLUDED FROM CITIZENSHIP IN ISRAEL. and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world." In verse 19 he says: "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but FELLOW CITIZENS with God’s people and also members of his household..." I added capitalization to show where Paul makes clear that Gentiles in Christ are true Israel. In Galatians 3 in the last line, Paul says: "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.". This also shows that those in Christ- Jew and Gentile alike are the true seed of Abraham- not by physical descent but by following Christ. By the way, my friend, it is God who brings the curses as well as the blessings on Israel according to many scriptures. It was He who brought the Babylonians to destroy Jerusalem as Jeremiah warned many times. Buy a Bible or read one from Bible Hub which allows searches in various chapters for words or phrases. The modern nation-state of Israel is not related to the biblical Israel besides geographic location. Most “Jews” in Israel are converts aka not real Jews. Judaism died with the destruction of the temple. Judaism cannot exist without a temple and animal sacrifice. I have been trying to tell people about the book of Amos and several other books and how they all dovetail and that if you look to see what the modern names are of some of these areas I mean, but it’s just it reached just like a current event And you know at the end of it. All God is saving Israel from all of these attackers and then he will turn and deal with Israel, one on one so they will not escape they will be judged for their sins as well, and for first and foremost, not acknowledging him as God any longer and turning to all other things and putting them in the place of their their God, their savior their creator, regardless of everything he’s ever done for them even now not glorifying God for the way he has protected them and been with them. Indeed you are one of the few that recognize that God will turn and curse Israel with tribulation (our country too!) for their not turning to Him. But I submit sister, that Amos is showing that the real punishments come on ALL the nations in the prophecy (forget chapter breaks!) on the Day of the Lord at His return, not 2024. Zechariah says: In the whole land,” declares the Lord, “two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it. This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’ ” Zechariah 13: 8-9 But you perhaps already knew this. I doubt the guy in the video does.

Gaza was destroyed several times since Amos. In the 8th century BCE, Gaza came under the influence of the Assyrian Empire. Although it was not completely destroyed, it was subjected to Assyrian control and faced military actions that weakened its power. The Philistine cities, including Gaza, were affected by the Babylonian conquests in the 6th century BCE. Historical records suggest that Nebuchadnezzar II subdued the Philistines during his campaigns, marking a significant decline for Gaza as a distinct political entity. In 332 BCE, Alexander the Great besieged Gaza, which was one of the last cities resisting his conquest of the Persian Empire. After a two-month siege, Alexander captured Gaza, leading to widespread destruction and loss of life among its defenders. This siege is noted for its brutality and resulted in significant devastation of the city. In 145 BCE, Jonathan the Hasmonean conquered Gaza and destroyed its suburbs by fire. This event further contributed to the city's decline as an independent stronghold. Throughout subsequent centuries, Gaza continued to face invasions and conflicts that contributed to its destruction and rebuilding cycles. Notably, it was involved in various regional struggles, including those during Roman and Byzantine times.

The Bible has what has been recognized as 'manifold fulfillment of prophecy'. However, the makers of this video are unaware that this is ultimately fulfilled on the Day of the Lord. The rest of the prophecy tells of the curses instore for Israel as well. Chapter 5 even shames Israel for thinking that good things await them on the Day of the Lord.
