MUHAMMAD IN THE BIBLE!!!! The announcements of the coming of Muhammad in the Bible are the proofs of the truthfulness of Islam for the people who believe in the Bible. In Deuteronomy 18, Moses repeats what God said to him: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren and put my words in his mouth; he shall speak to them whatever I command him. But whoever will not hear My words, which he speaks in My name, I will require it of him” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19). From these verses we can conclude that the prophet of this foretelling must fulfill the following three characteristics: 1) That he must be like Moses. 2) That it must come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. from the Ishmaelites. 3) That God will inspire his words and that he will explain 1) A prophet like Moses: There were hardly two prophets who resembled each other as much as Moses and Muhammad. Both were given an understandable law and way of life. Both met their enemies and won miraculously. Both were recognized as prophets and leaders. Both emigrated before conspiracies could murder them. There were analogies between Moses and Muhammad not only in the similarities mentioned, but also in other very important ones: the natural birth, family life and death of Moses and Muhammad unlike Jesus. Furthermore, Jesus was viewed by Christians as the Son of God and not solely as a Prophet of God as Moses and Muhammad were and as Muslims believe of Jesus. Consequently, this prophecy refers to Muhammad and not to Jesus, for Muhammad is more like Moses than Jesus. From the Gospel of John we learn that the Jews were waiting for the fulfillment of three different prophecies: 1) the coming of Christ, 2) the coming of Elijah, 3) the coming of the prophet. This is evident from the three questions put to John the Baptist: “And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites to him from Jerusalem, to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed and did not deny, and he confessed: I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What is it? are you Elijah He said: It's not me. Are you the prophet And he answered: No." (John 1:19-21). If we cross-reference the Bible, we find in the margins where the words "the prophet" appear at John 1:21 that they refer to Deuteronomy 18:15 and 18:182. We conclude from this that Jesus Christ is not the prophet mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:18. 3) God will put His word in the mouth of this prophet: God's Word (the Noble Quran) was indeed placed in Muhammad's mouth. God sent the angel Gabriel to teach Muhammad the exact Word of God (the Holy Quran) and commanded him to dictate it to the people as he had heard it. So it's not his own speech. The words are not from his own thoughts, but were put into his mouth by the angel Gabriel. During the lifetime of Muhammad, and under his supervision, these words were memorized and written down by his companions. The prophecy in Deuteronomy also mentions that this prophet will speak the word of God in the name of God. If we look at the Noble Qur'an, we find that all but chapter 9 begin with the saying: "In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful." God said in the prophecy of Deuteronomy, "But whoever will not hear My words that he speaks in My name, I will require it of him." (Deut. 18:19). This means that anyone who believes in the Bible must believe what this prophet speaks, and this prophet is Muhammad.

Now those who believe in him, stand by him, help him and follow the light that was sent down with him, these are those prosper.” (7:157)

And then they said, "The houses stands for Paradise and the call maker is Muhammad (peace be upon him); and whoever obeys Muhammad, obeys Allah; and whoever disobeys Muhammad, disobeys Allah. Muhammad separated the people (i.e., through his message, the good is distinguished from the bad, and the believers from the disbelievers). [Prophetic Hadith: Al-Bukhari].
