All other times he was merciful and gentle to mankind and never harmed anyone. Infact those that harmed him, he would go out of his way to do good to that person. Hi Bro.. just to clarify that all battles at the time of Muhammad PBUH were to stop attackers and also in Quran all verses talking about fighting are referring to self defence battles..in Quran Surat Al Bakara Allah said:" Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors" With regards to who has rejected the Message but not attacked Muslims Allah said in the Quran:" Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly"

Actually Prophet Mohammad PBUH fought Atheist Arabs and Jews of Arabia that time because they were the attackers trying fiercely to kill him and wipe out all of his followers permanently. He fought them and when he became victorious, he was merciful with them ; never had a killer instinct to kill his prisoners of war unlike others. He normally fought with people who broke treaties , broke oaths and violated human rights. Mohammed PBUH never ever took things personally , he dealt with all things rationally and justly.

Salam aleykum, if you include the small wars where he sent 400-500 people to destroy local idols (so people don't worship idols), you're statement is wrong. Ofcourse, our Prophet Muhammed SAW did it ONLY after he was a ruler and had the control. He never did that before he was a ruler. After he conquered Makka, he sent small expeditions to extingiush idolatry. I am not gonna go to much in the detail, you should listen/read Seerah of Prophet Muhammed SAW and about the different battles. I'm just saying, we as Muslims, we shouldn't sugar coat things, tell things as they are and happened. And yes, he was merciful, he showed mercy throughout different battles. But for example, during battle of Qurayza, the jews who betrayed our Prophet Muhammed SAW multiple times and also attempted to murder him, were forgiven and allowed to live, but later on, they betrayed him again by siding with the Quraish while they had agreed on constitution with our Prophet SAW that they would fight together and help each other when external danger is present. After this battle, all the Males of the Jewish tribe Banu Qurayza were executed, with few exceptions. Just a side note: He didn't give himself the command of the execution. He let Sa'ad Ibn Muadh (RA), who was the leader of the Ansaar, make the decision (Ansaar and Jews were close even before our Prophet SAW arrived in Medina). So, during this Battle, all males were executed and few exceptions as I said. I'm not gonna go further into discussion in this, I hope I made my point. If you want know more, all you need to do is study Seerah of Prophet Muhammed SAW. :)

@@fsgRex wa Alykoum Essalam, with all the respects you are contradicting yourself Sirah and Quran: - No battle was to extinguish idolatry all of them was self diffense except Fath Mekkah which was a punishment of who broke the treaty and committed a war crim. - Banou Quraiza were Ahl Kittab not idol worshiers i don't know why you mention them as examples, they commited a huge treason so the prophet punished them and he punished only warriors not innocent people. I don't know here who is practicing sugar coating !! Can you provide a single verse from the Quran that instructs or at least allows to fight/kill idol worshipers evrm they are peaceful and innocent and did not attacking Muslims or helping their enemies? Zvarkove the best I never said Banu Quraiyza were idol worshippers. You just rephrased exactly what I said about them, where do you see me saying that they are idol worshippers? Banu Quraiyza is one of the 3 Jewish tribes, who all broke the constitution and betrayed our Prophet SAW. And about killing, I never said they were allowed to kill innocent people. I said, people who oppose Islam and fight against Islam to worship their Idols. You are never allowed to kill innocent people in Islam obviously. I think you misunderstood me. Secondly I said that our Prophet SAW sent small expeditions after conquest of Makka, to destroy the Idols around Makka, which were still being worshipped.

He was so humble , most time his home was empty of food. He was getting up in the morning asking his wife is there anything to eat she says no then he say we will fast today. His rich compangions gave all there wealth to help the poor and free the beleiver slaves from being tortured so bought them then free them for allah and to charge muslims army to defende themselves and to spread the message for all mankind and lived a poor life because they were not thinking of this life they know that the hereafter is best and lasting forever

@jax demax muhammed never killed a man just for not being muslim , some wars were to defend the muslim , and when was the war to spread the message to the unbeleiver lands there were rules. When the muslims enter new land they make there people choose to be muslims or to pay jezya"taxes" for protecting them. And this taxes were not fard on women or elders or children. Do not ever killed or tortured any one after defeating them Never cut a tree or corrupt civilization. Muslims treated there prisoners fair Unlike all tribes and civilizations such as the Romans and Persians at his time. But without any knowledge you have already prejudice.

And before any battle they were offering surrender without fight. I will tell you a thing , I am an Egyptian, and if the Muslims had not entered, conquered, and spread Islam in Egypt, I would now be Coptic or Christian. And I thank God every day for conquering Egypt with Islam and being a Muslim.

@jax demax see You misunderstood the understanding of God’s messages, that all of God’s messages are one and the same message to all messengers from Adam to Muhammad It is the worship of God ALLAH alone without a partner All messengers were calling this However,throw ages every messenger was sent to a group of people or to a specific country Many people were dening their messages , and some messengers who were killed and all those messages were changed and distorted after the death of the messangers, including even Judaism and Christianity. So when he sent our master Muhammad pbuh as a messenger, he did not send to one group of people but sent to all humanity So God's command was to spread the message to the whole world Every person who has witnessed islam must believe in him, because all existing religions are nothing but distorted copies of the original message, and ALLAH made islam for all humanity cause of the fact that there will not be other prophits after Muhammed pbuh, Muhammed was mentioned In the bible u can go check yourself , and there was Prophecy in Judaism that there is a seal of the prophets after Isa jesus When Muhammad came from a non-Jew, they lied to him, fought him, and tried to kill him They do not even believe in Isa, so they are waiting for the final of Prophets to arrive until now, and he is the Antichrist dajjal and the messangers will come on the Day of Resurrection to disavow those who distorted their messages, including Jesus pbuh, who Christians made him a son of God.

Hi brother , peace be with you , the prophet fought those who fought against him and his companions and forced them out of home and Mecca and they tortured his companions and tried to kill him but Allah protected him and when finally he came back to Mecca victorious he said what do you think I’m gonna do to you they responded you are a good brother and a son of a good brother he said go you are free and forgave them in the most good generous manners free all the suffering they caused , of course you will hear a lot about Islam spread by sword and Mohammed was violent and such but the history and evidence shows something else but this is another subject , I don’t want to make my comment any longer but I think we own it to ourselves to read and study to know the truth then make our minds and conclusions based on knowledge And evidence, guidance is from Allah alone , the prophet was only a massenger and a Warner , sorry for the long comment , this was a good reaction to. Even after 23 year prophet mohammed came back to his home *mecca* as a victor he didn't give sanction to those who hurt him or hurt his followers. Here is the story that shows how merciful mohammed was even for his enemies: When his enemies came to the Ka’bah, they were holding onto its door and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “What do you say? What do you think?” They said three times, “We say you are the son of our brother.” The Prophet said, “I say to you as Joseph said to his brothers: No blame upon you today. Allah will forgive you, for he is the most merciful of the merciful.” (12:92) In another narration, the Prophet said to them, “Go, you are free.” This is not a man who is chasing for his revenge desire against enemies instead is a man and prophet who look after one another and want to spread peace instead of violence this is the prophet which i follow and believe in him peace be upon him.

Muhammad PBUH never hit his enemies either, he didn't go around bashing people that disagreed with him, he even allowed Christians of Najran to pray in his mosque. HOWEVER he was in the battlefield against his enemies who conspired and actually threatened him and he fought them- this is a state of war though- in that case its kill or be killed- but Muhammad often set contracts and peace settlements with disbelievers who would not oppress him or his followers, he only took an offensive move against those that tried to tie his hands and suppress him in the land.

Rasulullah SAW said, "Indeed, I will go to meet Allah. And before I go, I want to settle all matters with humans. So I want to ask all of you. Do I owe you? I want to settle the debt. Because I don't want to if you meet Allah in debt to humans." Suddenly a man named Akasyah wakes up. Then, he said, "O Messenger of Allah! I want to convey this matter. If this is considered a debt, then I ask you to settle it. If it is not a debt, then there is no need for you to do anything." So Akasyah began to tell the story, "I still remember when the Uhud war used to be, one time when you were riding a horse, then you hit the whip behind the horse. However, the whip didn't hit the back of the horse, actually the whip hit my chest because at that time I was standing behind the horse you are riding, O Messenger of Allah." Hearing this, the Messenger of Allah said, "Indeed it is a debt, O Akasyah. If I hit you before, then today I will receive the same thing." With a rather high voice, Akasyah said, "Then I want to do it immediately, O Messenger of Allah." Akasyah seemed not to feel guilty saying that. Meanwhile, at that time some of the friends shouted scolding Akasyah. "Indeed, you are heartless, O Akasyah. Isn't Your Majesty sick?" Akasyah paid no attention to all that. Rasulullah SAW asked Bilal to take the whip at Fatimah's house. After taking the whip, Akasyah went before the Messenger of Allah. Suddenly, Abu Bakr stood blocking Akasyah saying, "O Akasyah if you want to hit me, hit me. I am the first to believe in what the Messenger of Allah said. I am his friend in times of joy and sorrow. If you want to hit, then hit I." Then the Messenger of Allah replied, "Sit down, O Abu Bakr. This is between me and Akasyah." Akasyah went to the Messenger of Allah. Suddenly, the two favorite grandchildren of the Prophet Muhammad, namely Hasan and Husein, woke up. They both wooed and wriggled. "O Uncle, beat us Uncle. Our grandfather is sick, beat us O Uncle. Indeed we are the beloved grandchildren of the Prophet, hit us O Uncle." As soon as he reached the steps of the pulpit, Akasyah firmly said, "How am I going to hit you, O Messenger of Allah. You sit on top and I'm on the bottom. If you want me to hit you, then come down here." Rasulullah SAW is the best human being. The Prophet asked some of his companions to carry him down. The Messenger of Allah was seated on a chair, then in a firm voice Akasyah said again: "Back when you hit me, I was not wearing clothes, O Messenger of Allah" Without lingering in a weak state, the Prophet took off his clothes. Then the Prophet's body was seen which was very beautiful, while some stones were tied to the Prophet's stomach, a sign that the Prophet was starving. Then Rasulullah SAW said, "O Akasyah, hurry and do not overdo it. Later Allah will be angry with you." Akasyah continued to approach the Messenger of Allah, the hand holding the whip to be hit on the body of the Prophet Muhammad, apparently threw the whip while continuing to hug the body of the Prophet SAW tightly. Shouting in tears, Akasyah said, "O Messenger of Allah, forgive me, forgive me, where can there be a human being who can bear you, O Messenger of Allah. I did it on purpose so that I could increase my body with your body. Because verily I will not be eaten by the fire of hell. . And verily I am afraid of the fire of hell. Forgive me, O Messenger of Allah." Rasulullah SAW in a state of illness said, "O all my friends, if you want to see the members of Heaven, then look at Akasyah." All friends shed tears. Then the companions took turns hugging the Messenger of Allah.

Bro you have to read The Glorious Quran in the language u understand. The Glorious Quran is The Literal Word of God, Given to Prophet Muhammad Through The ANgel Gabriel. The Message is in The Glorious Quran. Surprisingly The Glorious Quran Doesnt Mention the History Of Muhammad it is God who is talking in there To Who ever is reading and he is telling the reader what he wants from you and why he created you and what will happen when u die. i know this might be too much for you but just get The Glorious Quran and read 1 page at a time.

I think you noticed what he did after conquering Mecca. He gave amnesty to the people, except a few, who constantly oppressed him and his followers before the migration to Medina. Means, he never wanted to fight with people except in a battle, which was against the people who declared war against Islam by different means.

anyway, in Islamic households, it is common for parents to teach the children to "be like Muhammad PBUH", and to idolize him. So yes, in a way you could say Muhammad PBUH is indeed our idol. Prophet Muhammad pbuh life itself is the sign that Allah SWT (The God) is the creator....the success of prophet Muhammad pbuh journey of all which is just 23 years of prophethood.....and the impact that bit had on the future generations.....both Muslims and non Muslims alike......it Arabs were not educated through Quran.....there will be no Arab travellers who would have sought out for knowledge......they wouldn't have collected knowledge from India, China or Greece.....and wouldn't have translated so that Latin people wouldn't have got these scripts.....and the Renaissance wouldn't have occurred in the Europe......and the science which is the backbone of today's technology wouldn't have taken place.....so life of prophet Muhammad pbuh is both a success in religious and modern levels.......this itself testifies that Allah SWT is omipotent and most high and he is the only one who is gonna give justice for all in the day of judgement.....Insha Allah

if you try to know his story, not even any movie about loss and struggle could match it ever. you know, these days media is available everywhere and there's probably a movie exist where we cry like a baby when we watch but none can match prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) how he struggled just to deliver a message from ALLAAH. i also want to take note that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) delivered the message of ALLAAH respectfully and not forcefully because there's always a misconception that exist that somehow it could be forced due to the battles that took place in his time. to be able to understand how the battles even took place, you have to know his story. One example is when the Kuraish (Tribe of Prophet from Madinah who rejected him) attacked Makkah (after The prophet left Madinah, he went to Makkah and lived there and accepted by the people there) just to get rid of prophet Muhammad. there are also recorded skirmishes that took place and this can only be justified if you know the whole story and not nit picking the skirmishes by itself. :)

There was an incident,Muhammad p.b.u.h was chased and thrown with stones when he camed to a place called Thaif..He was bleeded for too many stones throwned at him..After that incident,an angle camed to offer him a favour so he can revanged the behavour of the people of Thaif..But Muhammad refused to revenged the pepole of Thaif..He said,"Don't revanged them..Maybe one day their children (next generation) will be the believer.." Years after Muhammad p.b.u.h passed away,the people of Thaif became his follower..
