The problem with most Pastors is that they feel intimidated because they know that the Prophet has a higher authority, and so they fear they will take their positions, and that is not true, the prophet understands his/her place and understand the authority and the responsibility. Prophets are not there to hold your hand through your problem (that's another ministry) but they will tell you what you need to change to solve your problem, and it is your responsibility from there on.

Did the Lord not say that he was no respector of persons? The bible mentions women prophetess like Huldah Kings 22:14 whom they sought which means she operated in the office, Mirian in Micah 6:4 whom the people came up before, Deborah who was not only sought out as the prophetess of the Land but the Judge over Israel Judges 4:4 Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time, Isaiah's wife mentioned in Isaiah 8:3, Anna in Luke 2:36. How can you ignore this?

Miriam, Deborah, Hulda, and Noadia just to name a few. Furthermore, Acts 2:17 and Joel 2:28 say the same thing: "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on ALL PEOPLE. Your sons AND DAUGHTERS will prophesy..." Now, let's add that Philip had 4 DAUGHTERS who prophesied (the verb of prophesy), which means they operated in the gift/office and spoke the oracles of God. (see Acts 21:8-9). Also, Isaiah was married to a "prophetess" (see Isaiah 8:3) and together they named their children according to the sign of the times. The first of their two sons was Shear-jashub, who was old enough to be taken to meet Ahaz (7:3), and whose name means, “The remnant return” and was prophetic of the literal and spiritual return of Israel. As Isaiah and his wife had the gift of prophecy they gave their son a name that was so hopefully significant. The second son had an extended, mystic name, Maher-shalal-hash-baz, meaning, “haste, spoil, speed, prey,” and implies “They-the Assyrians-hasten to the spoil-the taking of Syria and Samaria-they speed to the prey.” Such a name, prophetic of the desperate flight of Syrian and Samaritan armies before their conquerors, was thought of as an enigma in Jerusalem. The prophecy was fulfilled in 732 b.c. when Tiglath-pileser III captured Damascus. So, please for my sake and everyone else's sake, stop with the "woman hate" and go read your bible. This woman is not a "pastor" of a church and she is not trying to do anything outside of God's word. She is fulfilling the call she believes God placed on her life and that is to operate in the gift and office of prophecy. If she is wrong, God will judge. But, it is so wrong for those of you to say that she is not a prophet because she is a woman. You are off and not biblically sound and when you make these statements on public forums you are attempting to make scripture out to be a lie. There are too many women prophets in the bible for you all to keep saying this foolishness. So, stop. Just stop it.

A lot of great truth in this. I wish there was a distinction made between the prophetic gift and the prophetic mantle/gift ministry/function which she calls an office. When people hear a person with a prophetic gift they think the person is a PROPHET which is dangerous. What she described is ways Prophets function but not what those who are prophetic but not prophets. Many Prophets today are being trained firsthand by Yah , indirectly and with some mentoring of others but limited because He does cannot afford to allow them to be tainted by or too attached to others that would prevent them from freely flowing in full dependence on Yah.

Jesus nor His Apostles every taught in scripture that there is a Female counterpart to a Male. They never taught or wrote, "Just like there are Male Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Evangelist, and Pastors...there are Female ones also". I don't know where people are getting their training on how to interpret Scripture, but the first rule of interpretation is the "Literal Interpretation". There is no teaching in scripture that a Prophetess is a Female Prophet. There is absolutely no mention of a woman operating in the Office of the Prophet in the Old or New Testament. When you look up the "Greek Translations" for ..Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Evangelist and Teachers they are all "Masculine in origin". Meaning Male centered. This is true, Prophetess of God. The Lord does nothing on this Earth unless HE REVEALS it to his prophets (2Chron. 20:20) Prophesy is the gift of God to the Body of Christ. It is supposed to assist us and guide us where to go. The enemy keep reinventing himself, so a fresh revelation about his wiles is always helpful. If you are of the LORD you have some measure of understanding of his pressing in your spirit. It is usually given to you in prayer.

Another Ex. We all know about the story of Sodom & Gomorrah in Genesis 19. Only MEN were used as an example of homosexual behavior in the bible.This would imply that only MEN could be punished for this behavior. There were women in the bible who were called prophetess !!! Examples: Miriam, Moses and Aaron's sister was called a prophetess in her older years. (Exodus 15:20-21). Deborah was both a Judge and a Prophetess. (Judges 4:4). Huldah, although many do not know about her, was a prophetess.. (2 Kings 22: 14-20). Isaiah's wife was a prophetess (8:3). .. I have found, that if your pulse is really on the Spirit of God, you may already sense or know something if a prophet gives you a word. Firstly, just because a woman prophesy doesn't mean she is a Prophet. It means she has the gift of prophecy (1 Cor 12:10), which is given to the Body of Christ. Definition of Prophesy: "Predict or reveal through, or as if through divine inspiration". God uses women throughout the Bible, for we are all one in Christ. But Men were given the authority to be leaders in the Church not Women. If you are a true Christian, you must base your belief system off of the teachings of Christ and His Apostles.

HEBREWS 1:1-2, "Long ago,at many times and in many ways,God spoke to our fathers by the "prophets",but in these "last days" He has spoken to us by His Son,whom He appointed the heir of all things through whom whom also He created the world. Notice how it says "long ago" & also in "these last days" in which God speaks to us through His son Jesus. John 1:1,Jesus is the "WORD"(Scripture).
