PINKYFISH private dance worship is the most beautiful because you have an audience of One, the Lord Himself! He loves our private dance. This is always where it should begin in pure focused worship to Him. But dancing in church is also beautiful and is a work for the Lord. If the leadership of the church welcomes it, then do it. Not all pastors are open to it sadly. Worship Him in dance in private and He will guide you and open doors to dance in worship publicly. Let us know how the Lord leads you in it! Blessings!!

The bible talks a lot about dancing. If you want to claim something isn't biblical, then you really need to read your bible first. I'll never understand those who claim something isn't biblical yet have no idea what the bible says. Miriam was a prophetess and often did prophet dancing as above: Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took the timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dancing. Exodus 15:20. Also see Ryan's above. Please stop reading God's Holy word as if it were fairy tales. Study it, read it, see what's in it.

Some people call it praise dance. I know many people don't understand how it can be prophetic, because it is not prophetic in the usual way. It is prophetic when the dancer allows the Holy Spirit to move through them declaring things from heaven into the natural realm with inspired body movements. Spiritual dance is beautiful and biblical. It is much more powerful than most Christians realize. But the most important thing is that when it is done with the right heart to honor God, it is well pleasing to the Lord. It is really for Him, not people. But people can be blessed in many ways by watching it. True praise and worship of God always bring the presence of God and lives are changed in His presence. Blessings!
