PROPHETIC WORD FOR ZAMBIA "COME BACK TO THE COVENANT MADE" - PASTOR ROBERT CLANCY THE DECLARATION OF ZAMBIA AS A CHRISTIAN NATION. Dec. 29, 1991 by the country's second President Frederick Chiluba. Today I want to say to all of you; we need God to heal our land; I will therefore do my part of the covenant, as I will identify myself with the Zambian nation in the following prayers: Dear God, as a nation, we now come to your throne of grace, and we humble ourselves and admit our guilt .We repent from all our wicked ways of idolatry, witchcraft, the occult, immorality, injustice, and corruption and all other sins that have violated your righteous laws. We turn away from all this and renounce it all in Jesus name. We ask for forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Jesus. Therefore, we thank you that you will heal our land. We pray that you will send healing, restoration, revival, blessing, and prosperity to Zambian .Amen. On behalf of the nation, I have now entered into a covenant with the living God, and therefore I want to make the following declaration; I declare today that I submit myself as president to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I likewise submit the Government and the entire nation of Zambia to the Lordship of Jesus Christ .I further declare that Zambia is a Christian nation, which will seek to be governed by the righteous principals from the word of God. Righteousness and justice must prevail in all levels of authority, and then we shall see the righteous of God exalted. My fellow Zambians, let this message reach all civil servants in all government departments ‘The time of corruption and bribery is over. For too long, these wicked practices have been destroying and tearing down the nation. Now the hour has come for building up. The hour has come for stability. Proverb 29:4 declares that one, who is greedy for bribes tears down a nation, but by justice a king, or a president, gives a country stability. The book of Romans chapter 13:11 urges us to understand the present time, as the hour has come to wake up from our slumber, because our salvation is near. The night is nearly over, and the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. My fellow Zambians, a new dawn has come to Zambia. May God bless and help us all to live according to His righteous laws. POINTS TO NOTE On behalf of the nation, I have now entered into a covenant with the living God, and therefore I want to make the following declaration; A. COVENANT 1. Personal submission to Jesus Christ (I submit myself as president to the Lordship of Jesus Christ) 2. Government and national submission to Jesus Christ (I likewise submit the Government and the entire nation of Zambia to the lordship of Jesus Christ) B. DECLARATION OF ZAMBIA A CHRISTIAN NATION 1. Governed by the standard of God’s Word (which will seek to be governed by the righteous principals from the word of God) 2. Righteousness must prevail in all levels of authority 3. Justice must prevail in all levels of authority, and then we shall see the righteous of God exalted. Amen the covenant stands and Will prevail as long as all those who are faithful and knows their God come to repentance and acknowledge that we have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. As civic leaders, believes at all levels let us accept that we have allowed this nation into the old ways. We can’t just politicize everything e are the govt at the grassroots we can do something to restore this covenant in Jesus name. God open our eyes from sleep and know the times we we in. Jesus have mercy on us ( 2 Chronicles 7 and 14) this is for believers and not a political party, not a denomination or someone special but “ those who are called by my name “ say the lord. The first Republican President was not evil. Moreover Godused that man in the liberation struggle against British rule. K.K. may have committed attrocities as David did, but he never allowed the country to plunhe into violence in 1991. Also, he kept Zambian's united with the "one Zambia one nation" motto. Don'tbe deceived by the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation; Satan also desguises himself as an angel of light. People were excited in 1991, but many people didn't fully appreciate the real cause of the economic problems Zambia faced. K.K. requested the colonialists to leave as such copper prices plummeted. This gave rise to the qicked problems related to poverty (having transfired gold reserves to the bank in Europe). K.K. tried his best to manage by giving people food coupons. Then came FTJ with the declaration and liberalization policies. Well guess what??? The IMF and World Bank succeededbin Killing the Government's sources of income through those policies. The situatiob didn't get better, it got worse as we no longer own our copper mines. We subsist on debts. How do youpayback the debt when the IMF has killed your source of income? Taxes??? What taxeswhen many people don't work?
