God hates sin. He’s saying, live in the Spirit and by the fruit of the Spirit. If you did that, you wouldn’t sin or live in the flesh but focus on the righteousness of GOD

As long as we live in flesh we will sin no matter how righteous you are, we sin mentally daily that's reason we need to repent daily...so God is bothered about sin because we need to repent even when we think we haven't sin.
