I'm just happy to see Tom's "arm the homeless" guitar, that takes me back to 1996. I still vividly remember hearing this song for the first time, it was on providence's 95.5 wbru as their "screamer of the week". I was anticipating the new album which I bought at a record store the morning it was released, but hearing this track beforehand got me amped the fuck up for it. What a powerful sound this one delivers.

You know, twenty years ago, this would have been much more impressive. It feels weird knowing these five guys made music I've loved for decades, and yet don't *quite* seem to come together right. Perhaps if they had more new material and less covers of their own work, it'd feel less like a bunch of guys in their 40s and 50 coasting by on nostalgia. Old age comes for us all. :(

My absolute favorite band ever, so of course, it's one of my favorite songs of all time. I'm happy Tom, Brad, and Tim are keeping it going, but man, it's not great. Zack was so unique, I know they're not as popular, but Prophets of Rage might be better off playing Audioslave songs. This ain't got the same impact. Sucks to see your favorite band breakup and get old. Go watch Rage in 1992 on youtube if you haven't yet.

It feels like they slowed down the song for the MCs. That little difference in pace really takes the punch our of the song. It just feels off, like they are talking in their non-native language. I guess that is the effect of singing someone else's lyrics. :-(
