"For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). "For all have sinned...." (except Christ Jesus). Thank God that He provided a substitute, Christ Jesus, who "tasted death for every man" (Hebrews 2:9). Our Saviour did not die one death on the cross , but he died many deaths on Calvary's cross for us. He was buried, and rose from the grave. He is life personified. He stated, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father, but by Me" (John 14:6). The same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead shall raise up all believers to everlasting life. I saw the spirit of death before. He was wearing a dark, hooded robe. Death is my enemy.
