pretty sure in game 1 when blue sky got crackdowned, shannon would get 1 search. There is one opponent's card in the same column as blue sky: itself Ruling: Q: When Jack Knight of the Azure Sky is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned from my hand and I activate its effect, what happens if my opponent chains Enemy Controller and takes control of my Jack Knight of the Azure Sky? Answer: A: When resolving the effect of Jack Knight of the Azure Sky that was Normal or Special Summoned, if your opponent has gained control of it with the effect of Enemy Controller, you will add “Jack Knight” monsters from your Deck to your hand based on the number of cards in the column that your opponent placed Jack Knight of the Azure Sky in. For example, if your opponent chooses to place Jack Knight of the Azure Sky in the Main Monster Zone in the same column as the activated Enemy Controller, the number of cards on your opponent’s field in that column will be 2 (Enemy Controller and Jack Knight of the Azure Sky itself), so you add 2 “Jack Knight” monsters with different names from your Deck to your hand.

@@walkingcorpse1224 Wrong. Activate by targeting 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; take control of that monster. While you control that monster, it cannot attack or activate effects. When that monster leaves the field, destroy this card. The effect is already activated, Crackdown doesn't work like skill drain, it prevents you from USING the effect, if you chain CD to a monster who's already activated the effect goes through. In regards to the Blue sky, i'm undecided as it checks for the amount of cards in your opponents column, that checks on resolution, at resolution the blue sky is in a column with no cards in the opponents column as the blue sky is under the control of his opponent? it's very interesting haha
@brianmabon47035 жыл бұрын
James Woodward it’s the second part, crackdown didn’t negate it just moved it to a column with no cards on his side so that it didn’t resolve. Same way if someone summons blue sky, I chain mst my own backrow in the same column, it will search one less card.
@superzenmodeman5 жыл бұрын
@@omfgusername002 How Blue sky works is you were the one who activated it, so the "opponent" still refers to your opponent even if your opponent is the one to control blue sky on resolution. And on resolution, there is a card your opponent controls that is in the same column as Blue Sky, which is also itself, so you get at least 1 search. The official enemy controller ruling confirms this.
@omfgusername0025 жыл бұрын
@@brianmabon4703 Crackdown moved it to a column where he still controls 1 card, which is blue sky.
