Count me in!" read a few 5 star "OMFG THESE R THE BEST" reviews that the site posts themselves. And then Dip the moment it starts getting too hot. -- Only to start up a new one a few weeks later to scam a few more thousand bucks.

I would of been more curious to see what seems to be referenced to as the V.2 and V.3 versions which are the ones that are the true knockoffs. The $145 price seems much more realistic and they do look much closer to the original. Even though Linus tested them I’d be interested to see a more nuanced evaluation. These look like shitty headphones and are shitty headphones so that’s not really surprising. Edit: After a little more searching there appears to be a 4.0 version. I’m really curious about those. You have to give props to some of the Chinese counterfeiters/clone makers, they’re always trying to improve.

I did test the airpods max but I have to say that the sound isn't worth the price. They feel very nice though and have good noise cancellation. Also, the mesh cussions helps against sweaty ears. I just don't like the sound quality as much as the quality of my Sony WH-XB900N headset for about a third of the price. They also have no aluminium housing

I have wired headphones, and two bluetooth speakers. Two headsets are bluetooth (one on the way out, the range is atrocious, a plantronics one), rest are wired (same for 4 pairs of earphones/headphones).

Well, I'm still very happy with my Trust gaming headphones I got for £20 from B&M. (also sold at Tesco and Asda). They're great for bass and mids, tho highs aren't crisp, but I prefer smooth sound over sharp anyway. I always use wired headsets cos charging up wireless ones is a pain. I can honestly say, spending around £80 (four times as much as I did) is worth it for music industry high fidelity headphones with oil filled speakers. ...but, £500? Nah. Not ever.

I have these exact knock-offs, and my particular model sucks azz at Bluetooth connection. Either it doesn’t connect, or it connects but the audio keeps stuttering or nothing. Even outside the house, the BT is azz. At least it have a headphone jack, to which it’s useless on my iPhone 8, an FM radio mode, and a microSD card slot for MP3s, although I don’t know if this is because I’m using a 128GB microSD or the crappy software but the track switching is slow and some songs skip to the next track at a certain point. Your mileage may vary, but for me, I’m just glad these were only $17 at Ross instead of the predicted $40 at “other stores”, or even PodsPro selling them for $149. I’m still keeping them around.

Even if you bring up fake Apple headphones that employee should still be able to help you connecting headphones to your iPhone as this is an Apple product.

I picked up the exact same ProPods at Ross for like $9.99, knowing they were fake and looking for beater gym headphones. They have the same 4 physical buttone and microsd card slot. Also I had to fix them because the speaker came loosing from the superglue holding it in the housing

You literally chose the cheapest knockoff available, these clone manufacturers are on another level and there are 120 dollar airpods max versions with both the crown and active noise cancellation. My uncle unironically fell for them and ended up paying way more than they were worth thinking that they were the real deal.

AHHHHH that "computer voice" after you connect. I think I've heard that exact clip in some other products. For some reason at least more than one Chinese products have one of those voice clips built in, speaking English in a Chinese accent that I can't tell what is being said. btw that "other product" that I heard that clip... it was a massaging chair in my home. (full disclosure, I'm Chinese)

These scams rarely aim for more than short range anyway, they usually expect to be exposed real soon, for what they are selling is way too crap.
