Proposal Flashmob Graz: Girl asks Boyfriend to marry her

In the middle of Graz Hauptplatz (MainSquare) I asked my soulmate with a surprise Flashmob to marry me. Spoilteralert: he said yes.
I already had made up my mind during my military Mission abroad in 2019, that I had finally found the man of my life during a long travelful journey. I even moved permanently to Austria to be next to this man! Once I was settled, I managed to prepare the Flashmob within 2 months by asking my firefighter-coworkers, emergencydriver-coworkers and new friends I made in this wunderful city called Graz. Lucky me all my volunteers easily learned my selfmade choreographie, which tells our love story. Even his' best friend and our parents came all the way form back home to be part of our moment. For him to be at the right place at the right time I got his professor involved to lure him.

My wife proposed 34 years ago, two weeks later we had 250 people at are wedding. All of our friends were in the restaurant business and brought all the food. We spent about $75 on paper products and then went on a 6 week honeymoon. Being married for 34 years is a lot of work, but it’s worth it. Good luck!

Although, I have been married and divorced and wasn't even proposed to then, more told I had to get married if I wanted to stay with said man, I would want to be proposes to by my SO, for reasons that are mine, however I am 110% for women proposing to the man. Traditions are like rules meant to be broken. It's okay for ppl to have different views and opinions but it is not okay to be hateful about it. Men proposing is a tradition, that's all, not a law, rule, or anything set in stone, it's the way things have been done for so long that ppl just do it bc that's how everyone else has always done it. Why continue being a follower, be a leader. This was super brave for her to do knowing the possible turnout in the comments section and I commend her for bucking age old Traditions and doing what her heart told her to do. Someone in the comments stated that being the asker means that said asked is prepared to take care of a family, well in 2021 it takes both ppl in the relationship to take care of a family these days. And if the man wasn't ready to be married he could have said no, which he clearly didn't. And also in today's progressive world men and marrying men and women marrying women? Do you same ppl have the same views on that? I sure hope you can open your mind up enough, for if no other reason, for the simplicity and pureness of love. I 110% agree with you, people need to stop making rude remarks about how men are "supposed" to propose. A woman can propose if she wants to. And she for sure does not need your comments about how to live her life. The only things you should be doing is cheering her on, congratulating her, hyping her on. We need to normalize women proposing. It's one thing to disagree with her ways but still be happy for her but another to be completely sexist and deny that women are absolute fucking queens. My people afterwards told me, that he was still so hyped, that he ordered a Salad. Which hi NEVER does haha :D But! It was a good stage of shock he said :P

I don't know but I am a little bit confused or torn apart. The bride is nice, good dancer, good singer, full of energy, very natural and brave:-) The other girls were not good dancers and I didn't like the dance at all.
