John Quintana was married to my father's cousin Donnalyn. My Great Aunt Donna May had Thanksgiving EVERY YEAR at her house in Milwaukee, Oregon. My Grandparents would come up from California, and Aunt Donna & Grandpa Chuck Quesnel would make HOT MULED WINE AND TODDIES and everyone would cram into the breakfast nook table and LISTEN INTENTLY to the STORIES of our RODEO FAMILY! ❤🤗. Sadly my Grandma LaRue Quesnel passed away in November 2021.🥹❤. I would LOVE to connect with Donnalyn again and catch up on some FAMILY HISTORY for the FUTURE GENERATIONS. (IF she is willing to do so, that is.) SO MUCH HISTORY of those days were never REALLY RECORDED. MEMORIES that slowly fade away, and future generations never learn about the AMAZING PEOPLE they are related too, some by blood, some by marriage, and some by becoming lifelong friends of the family.

I was at the Gladewater Roundup Rodeo when JQ rode V61. the first time that bull had ever been ridden. I'll never forget it as long as I live. The whole place went crazy... great memory.
