I personally own a Nokia 5 (first gen) and the system is up to date, even more updated than expensive phones. The monthly update is solid🔥

I have a Nokia 6 2017 (First Gen). Still kicking to this day but the slow performance is very noticeable now that I have a new main phone, the Realme 5 Pro. Nokia 6 will be my secondary phone and I expect it to last 3 more years and up 😂

I am seriously considering getting the Nokia 8.1. This video helped me a lot in my buying decision. A quick run down of what's good and bad IMO is a good format for potential buyers like me. I think you did a pretty good job of explaining the things you liked and disliked, just one thing when you were saying the notch is too big you could've included images of phones with a different style of notch since you want to make a distinction between them to show which notch style could've been better for Nokia. Overall, i was informed and those lips were fire. Best of luck to you and the unbox team 👍

Im using Nokia 8.1 now after my Xiaomi Mi 9SE has broken. Bilis masira ng Mi phone ko dahil lang nabagsak once, mahal din pagawa ng LCD (tho buo ang glass). Disappointed with Xiaomi dahil wala silang extended warranty. Im happy with this Nokia, camera is better than most phones. Pang flagship. No too much processing ng photos. Tho gusto ko sana may LED notification.

The specs are quite good, but with the price, I think the A50 will be a better choice. Camera performance will be a deciding factor for buyers, I think. EIS and OIS will help sell it to die-hard Nokia/HMD Global fans. Was that a custom-Wing Zero there in the background? Can you display a Red Astray also? :)

This is a great handset from Nokia. But yeah it would've been better if they put an AMOLED panel and a smaller notch. So it's a bit expensive for the competition.

Im using it now. their Puredisplay is great. no complains. I was using Mi phone with amoled, color reproduction is not accurate. Yung ibang colors nagiging too deep. Though maganda pa rin naman. Nasira din agad Xiaomi phone ko so I choose the more reliable one. Camera is flagship level.

How is the call quality? Can you hear the person at the other end at noisy situations? Is the voice crisp and clear?

But is the phone actually splash resistant though? Is it safe in light rain or accidental spills? Have you had any further camera updates to improve stabilization (EIS) when recording 1080p @60fps for both the front & rear cameras and improve sharpness, contrast & dynamic range? Colour accuracy and brightness above average? Speakers loud and clear enough to know it is ringing when you are out & about?

Smartphone manufacturers must sit up and come out with different fascinating ideas which can result in production of attractive and interesting lovely smartphones like the huawei, xiaomi, vivo smartphones.

Personally, I love a great software, and Nokia's almost-stock Android that is bloatware-free is the best thing to have in a smartphone. Phones from Huawei, Samsung, etc. are very great as well, but the single thing holding me back from liking their phones is the heavily-modified Android software with TONS of bloatware. I hate those. I own a Nokia 6.1, and have been receiving monthly updates and an upgrade to Android 9 Pie last year. The software plus the great build quality is what sets Nokia apart from other phones, though they're a little pricier, especially if compared to other phones from Xiaomi that are cheaper and have Android One as well.

No mention of OZO tech? If you're a person whom likes to record loud concerts, Nokia phones with OZO technology audio will have better audio compared to any other phones ie. Xiaomi midrangers or even its flagship. If you're just using a phone for social media, recording voice, etc. For the price, this phone is a let down. There are other manufacturers with lower price for regular use.
