Couple more points I wanted to make on where I was at financially before I opened my studio: -I had mentally prepared to support and fund the business for up to 6 months -I saved an emergency cushion fund (should be able to cover your personal expenses for up to 3 months) This is really important to consider! I stumbled upon your videos at a Walmart parking lot when I was buying things to start out my esthetician room. I started off with rent & deposit money. After that I had a little over $200 to buy everything. I budgeted made my room simple and cute. I started off with sample kits from Image Skincare for my 1st facials. Now I’m at a new location in a nicer neighborhood and thriving. Thank you for coming at the right time 🤍

I took the leap in October of this year, its a lot of hard work I must say. Nothing you really want in life comes easy but it’s well worth it. Now I have to decide if I want to quit my part time job or not. My books aren’t full yet but I feel like I can’t do both and my studio is suffering because I can’t put in my full time like I would like to. All these tough decisions we boss babes have to make 😅 keep up the amazing content and look forward to more videos ❤️

Congrats on opening your own spot! You did just open only a month ago so maybe give it a little more time and fully max out your dedicated days at the studio with clients. And then if it’s possible to slowly lessen your hours at your job, do that. Add one more day at a time. It’ll also make your clients VALUE your limited time. You got this!

I would say to the developer instead of it being $9.99 a month they should have a package deal. The other app I have I have it paid until I graduate and take my state board and I paid a flat rate fee so I started school in august and have it paid up until February which by then I should have a date for my state board exam hopefully 💚 Edit: Also on the free exam I had two questions that were the same and the answer was just moved and they spelled fragrance wrong in one of the free exam questions but overall it’s a good app!

I totally understand putting in that first year to get under your belt but not going to lie it seems kind of hard at the moment with the weird price structure (could elaborate if u still don’t understand what I mean, just ask). Are there any spas or chains your or colleagues have had good experiences with the may have establishments in Arizona? If not that’s ok just trying to continue to lay a solid foundation before working for myself. Which, again, I never really thought I could do until I started watching your journey.
