As someone who was born and has lived in Cleburne for their whole life, it’s really not all that, but with the rapid growth over the years I’m hoping for more fun things to do, we ain’t got shii to do like we used to. But we’re getting an Olive Garden now so that means we growing for real 😮💨

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's great to see the growth happening, what other businesses or activities would you love to see come to Cleburne to make it even better? 😊

Having lived here in Cleburne for the past 3 years, I will say that your video is pretty spot on. We are seeing some crazy growth here in the number of houses and subdivisions going up so it won't be long until we reach small city status 😭😭

Thank you for this video! I live in Midland and am about to close on a new build in Cleburne. I’ve only been there once, so I was a little nervous, but this video eased a lot of those fears

Welcome! I’ve only been here a few years, but it is way better than living in the dense cities where I came from. Hope everything is going well for you.

I appreciate the effort put into this video. Please don’t take this as a hit on you, more as a warning to potential buyers. Cleburne sucks. I’ve been here 27 years. Go to Burleson, at least, if not further north.

I've been here most of my life. I have a bad feeling about so many people moving in.

Where do you think that feeling is coming from?

@@thedfwhomeowner mostly the Chisholm Trail road being connected to the big city. I associate the big city with crime. So I'm nervous more crime will come to Cleburne as it grows.

Can you do Grandview Texas but can you discourage moving there because there’s a lot of developing happening in our small town and it’s kind of annoying😢

Grandview is a charming small town, but I get it-the rapid development can change the vibe 😢. What do you think could help maintain its small-town feel?

I’ve lived in Cleburne for almost a decade and one of my biggest complaints is that it’s the County seat in Johnson County and it’s like all of the homeless get dumped here. There’s a lot of crummy motels and hotels and they are a breeding ground for drugs etc. The city park by the city pool has a lot of drug users and homeless sleeping there. It doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of police activity in town. Right now it’s under control here but it seems like there’s about to be a population boom here in the near future and if the police aren’t expanding fast as the population it, crime rate will increase. It’s a great town to live in so far and glad we moved here. We don’t go into town after 8PM though, it starts to look like a zombie apocalypse after 8PM. The town does have a lot of small town feel to it too. Wish there was a place like old town in Burleson out here. There’s a lot potential for the town and excited to see it grow.

Hey, born and raised Cleburnite here. It has always been a known drug town, and his actually gotten much better over time. It's funny to read this from you because it's nothing like it used to be.

I totally get where you're coming from, growth can feel overwhelming, especially in smaller towns. How do you think we can balance development with keeping the charm of the community? 🤔
